+ -1 moreForde's did a fantastic job. They let us customize the job. We were able to decide which parts we wanted to do ourselves and which we wanted them to do. They were willing to adjust the quote each time and even during the process, we changed a few things, and they were willing to work with us. Would do work with again. They were great!
Description of Work: We contracted with Forde's to do some landscaping and removing trees/bushes. The put down new edging and helped pick out the plants and fillers.

+ -1 moreSome of the plants did not survive the year. The provider replaced the plants with comparable plants - same species in most cases; however there was one pair of shrubs that they weren't carrying this year. We found bushes that were very close to the same color as the ones that died. The provider also gave me advice on planting. They were very caring and courteous. They have a good variety of plants to choose from.
Description of Work: The provider came to my house and helped me plan my landscaping, sold me trees and shrubbery and other plants and planting materials. The provider also guaranteed the plants for the first year. The provider brought and professionally planted the largest of the trees purchased. I also had them deliver soil and one other tree, which was too big to fit in my truck.

+ -1 moreIt has been a year since the work was done. We are beside ourselves. The yard is beautiful. We had some plants not winter well and the nursery promptly replaced the plants without complaint. Professional to the utmost. Advice on care of the yard is readily dispensed. I would not hesitate to call on Forde Nursery for future work. It is fun to have neighbors walk by while we are in the yard and comment on how pretty things are.
Description of Work: Forde Nursery provided a comprehensive plan to rehab our entire yard. We have to get it done in stages due to the size of the yard. They completly tore out our front and side yards and rebuilt it from the ground up. Absolutely beautiful. 1 Sterile crab apple tree, 18 feather reed grass, 14 daisy's, 12 dianthus, 6 cone flowers, 4 evergreen bushes, 4 other bushes, 14 day lillies, and some other stuff I can't remember. Also included were drip system for all plants and irrigation system for new sod front and side yards. The irrigation system was also worked into the system in the back yard. The drip system was layed out by Forde and the sod irrigation was sub-contracted.

Description of Work: This is the second yard we have had Forde designed for us! Each time, the professional listened carefully to what we were interested in and produced a design which exactly met our expectations! We also purchased our plants from them - wonderfully hardy plants with a one-year guarantee! couldn't ask for better service.
