I di not go, see above response I called another provider who did the job the same day.

I had a problem with the main sewer backing up and causing water to back up into my finished basement soaking the carpet. I had to go out of my home to use he bathroom for 3 days because Carp's was closed for the weekend. When I got a hold of them on Monday, I was told it would be 3-4 weeks before they would do the work.

They were gone before I got a chance to take with them. They told my wife that I should call them. I did, no one answered the phone and they never call back. They charged my wife more than what they quoted me.

Arrival of subjects was right on time. Took them only 20 minutes to clean basement drain that had been backing up every time I washed clothes. Also gave me handy suggestions as to how to keep the drain system clean of lint and trash.

I called on a Friday afternoon, and the plumber came on Monday morning. He completed the work in less than an hour, cleaned the floor where the water spilled, told me why the drain was backing up (cast iron pipes that are rusting), and made a couple of suggestions about how to keep it me from having to call too often.

Carp's men arrived on time and stayed on the job until it was done. It took a great deal of time and effort. After cleaning the sewer they took video of what the problem was. Unfortunately they found my line was broken and collapsed.

I got and estimate and the owner patiently explained how the pipe is lined. He gave reference of other people who had their pipes lined with epoxy. Mr. Carp also allowed me to do some preparation work for a little money taken off the total price.. I am very satisfied with the service and peace of mine that the tree roots will not completely ruin the sewer pipe and causing a greater price of digging and lifting my house up to get to the damaged pipe.

One evening while taking a shower in our basement bathroom, we noticed the water was not draining properly. The water eventually started to go down and we then flushed the toilet in the same bathroom to find the water push its way up the shower drain. We had standing sewage water in our shower. We tried to remedy the situation ourselves but found we could not get the water to flow out to the main sewer drain properly. We called another company first to find out they would not be able to help us. They referred us to Carp's. We called them sometime around 3:00am and they returned our call 1st thing in the morning and they were at our home within a few hours. The plumber came right in and got right to work. He was careful to inform me to remove items from the area that could get soiled from the work he had to do and was patient while I removed the items. I really appreciated their guarantee on the service they provided. If I had problems in a 30 or 90 day window, the cost for them to come back out was either covered or reduced.

Went very well. Mission accomplished. They came the same day called and were able to snake out further than previous plummer. Wish I would've called them first! Will use them from now on!!!

They called 20 minutes before the appointment to confirm that we would be home. The service man arrived right on time and went right to work. The whole job took about 30 minutes. Well worth the money!
