Local appliance store recommended this company for installation of a new appliance. It took several calls to schedule to pick up and installation but Mike and his son Glen did arrive and install the appliance. I had to call to have the appliance reinstalled as it wasn't level. Then I had to call again as it still wasn't level. Both times I was not given an actual appointment but told that they were overly busy and that Mike would call me when they were "in my area" to swing by and try to level the appliance. This took quite a bit of time the first time and I'm now waiting for my second attempt to level this appliance.

In one word: horribly. I found out about his business from a local appliance store that I trusted. I was purchasing a gas range and his name was recommended to install it, saying "we use this guy a lot." This guy's name was Mike. The first experience with him seemed to be a bit overpriced, but as we were speaking about future projects, I mentioned to him that I did have some renovation that I wanted to get started in the near future. He leaped at the chance to do the work for me that included a multitude of different types of work, including drywall, electrical wiring and insulation etc. His quote for the work came to $9500, half of which he expected prior to starting the project. I paid the $4,750. But he went and cashed that check WITHIN THE HOUR (Wednesday, Dec 9th) . They installed the storm door on that day, but did not include it within my quote. The next day, when we planned to start the work they were a no call, no show. Only Mike showed up on the day after at 10:30 AM. He was waiting on his son (Glen) and the third employee (James) to come out with the truck and materials. In this time Mike did no work for me until I prompted him to do some handyman-level work for me (installed 2 towel racks, which I could have done) . His son and the other employee come around 3 hours later and put up the insulation in the ceiling & roof of the room that we were remodeling. He was also supposed to do some framing on the structure as well. Mike brought out about 12 two-by-fours for this work. I inspected these materials and literally all of the boards were warped, almost seeming like they were secondhand and not purchased for this specific job. Seeing this also led me to believe that the insulation that they had installed may have also been less-than-new quality. On Sunday December 13th, I texted Mike asking when he would be back out. He sent a text saying something along the lines of "I'm trying to appease everybody...I'm not sure when I can come back." At this point, I decided that I wanted to cut ties with the company. I told them to pick up the scaffolding and space heater that he had left at my house, and that I would pay for the work they had performed. I also asked for an itemized receipt to verify these charges. He ignored my request for receipts but he returned to pick up his materials. I texted him after that, asking for a refund. The only response I received from him was "please send all future correspondence to my attorney."
