Owner, Don Barnhart was referred to me by Mel Cameron(Mel's Septic Pumping), and Mel brought him out to look at my problem. From the onset, I knew Mr. Barnhart was very knowlegable on septic system installations. Although he was very much booked at the time, he was aware of our problem and not knowing how long our failing system would continue to work, he moved things around in order to get at ours as soon as he possible could. He assured me that if ours would just quit working, he would be out there immediately. As it turned out, there was no need for that however, it gave us comfort knowing that he would do this for us. He set a time when he would be here and true to his word he started at that time. I was extremely impressed by his professionalism, from his new equipment, to is abilities to operate all of it. He started working on Tuesday after lunch, and before five o'clock that day, the tree was down, the bush was down, the hole was dug, and there was a new 2000 gallon septic tank sitting in the hole. Needless to say, I was very impressed. After that of course the drain field lines had to be dug. Three lines at 124' per line for a total of 372' of drain field were dug and all connected to new tank. He also coordinated to have the electrician here to get the pump wired into the house. I also need to mention the extreme care he took not to disrupt my irrigation lines for my lawn, and miraculously, he only had to cut and splice one line, which, I must add, he and his helper came back tthe following Saturday morning to splice, so that I could continue to water my lawn. This company bent over backwards to give us good service. Those who know me, know that I work hard to keep my lawn looking as nice as possable, and would have a very hard time seeing heavy equipment running back and forth over it, along with deep holes dug in it etc. But Don made it as painlessly as he possibly could, and he cleaned it up very nicely and for that I am very greatful. It will settle over the winter,and he said he'd haul in a load of black dirt next Spring and spread it out for me. This was a huge expense for us in these hard times, but I am sure we received more than our money's worth. I cannot say enough nice things about this company, from Don, the owner, to his helper, to his secretary, who was so helpful in answering any questions that I had about the statement. I aslo have to say that Don Barnhart is held in high regard, and is well trusted by the County office of Environmental Sciences. When we we were down filing for our permits, and werr asked WHO would be doing the work, for us, you could see the look of relief in their faces when I said Don Barnhart from Band F Excavating., So, know that gave us comfort too. In closing, I would just like to say that I would recommend this company to anybody for ANY excavating, or septic installation, they would ever need completed.
