It was horrible. I asked them to remove the vinyl in the kitchen and hallway and they said they would lay it right over the top of it. I pulled the vinyl up myself so they wouldn't do that because it was curling and had big bubbles in it. They subcontracted out the work to 2 boys (Tim Benson) who didn't know what they were doing. My home is a manufactured home and the center of the home is uneven, but we didn't know that until they laid the laminate. Took them 2 days to lay it and they said it was a "floating" floor and it needed room to float. It floated alright, right off the floor. The center part was already popping up before the boys left. When I asked them about it, they said "the floor is uneven." DUH! what was their first clue? They told me to call them if I had any issues and to NOT call Pierce Flooring because Pierce would give me the run around. Well, I already had issues with the floor and they didn't fix it before they left and it was too late to call Pierce. Next day Pierce called and asked me how I liked my new floor? I told them it was popping up in the center of the house and had started popping in other places. They said, well, we didn't know that, those boys never told us that. So begins the run around. I told them I didn't want those boys back in my house because they wouldn't fix it when I questioned them about it. I wanted someone from their store to fix it, since that's the business they're in, right? WRONG!!! You don't want Pierce Flooring FIXING ANYTHING in your house. They are worthless liars and could care less about how your floor looks. Our dining room and living room have quite a few boards that are loose and move when you step on them. We had to remove the center part of the flooring in our house, jack the house up (which did absolutely no good), then put down wafer board to make it even (and we had to hire a third party to come do that, because after all Pierce doesn't know how to FIX the floors), then call Pierce flooring to come out and redo the center part and they were supposed to take it all out from the middle to the outside wall and redo it, but they didn't. They just replaced the boards in the center of the house. We've had problems with the floor ever since they put it in. I told the store manager, that I wanted a full refund of my almost $5,000 I spent so I could hire someone that actually knows how to install flooring and he told me if he gave my money back, he would have to come out and rip out ALL of the flooring they had just installed knowing full well that he would throw it in the garbage because it is cut to fit my house. They can't install used flooring in someone else's house, or can they? I wouldn't put it past them. I turned them in to YELP and to the Better Business Bureau, but so far nothing has come of it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND using Pierce Flooring Carpet Mill Outlet to anyone. They are horrible to work with, THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO INSTALL FLOORING THEMSELVES and it is all contracted out. To my knowledge those boys are still working for them and I will NOT ever buy anything from them again.
