Requested home inspection and he eventually scheduled one. Showed up and refused to perform whole inspection that day. Wanted to do half that day and half in the future because he forgot something. Completely unapologetic and unprofessional. Wasted a lot of time and money for sellers and buyers. Not sure how he can stay in business.
Description of Work: Requested home inspection and he eventually scheduled one. Showed up and refused to perform whole inspection that day. Wanted to do half that day and half in the future because he forgot something. Completely unapologetic and unprofessional. Wasted a lot of time and money for sellers and buyers. Not sure how he can stay in business. Hung up on me when I told him I expected him to be able to perform the whole inspection on the day scheduled. Maybe he was setting us up to charge twice. t

William Willman was excellent. I had an excellent Realtor, Russ Schwandt, wit Homestead Realty that highly recommended William Willman with Mountain View Inspections. I cannot remember the exact cost, but I think it was $275. The cost was about $25 more than the other inspectors the Realtor had available, but I went with his suggestion. I was very impressed. William spoke to me the day of or day after the inspection. (I am writing the review about eight months later.) William went over the jest of the inspection by phone since I was living out of state. He told me by phone the condition of the house. His report which I later received was detailed with photographs and arrows on the photographs pointing out areas of concern. These were minor issues with the house. I purchased the house and have been happy with it. I would highly recommend William at Mountain View Inspections. The finished product was worth the extra money. Had there been more significant issue with the house, his report would have been well worth it because of the photographs and arrows on the photographs. For example, he noted one shower stall needed caulking with these arrows. I would rate his written report as the best possible.
Description of Work: Home inspection for a house I was purchasing.

Mr. Willman inspected that house with a fine tooth comb. Even the realty company was surprised! After the closing, we discovered that the oven vent was missing and the front door would not close and lock. Bill had the vent listed in the inspection report, so we won't have any trouble on that. The situation on the door is where this man went way above a beyond. He drove all the way out to the home and took a look at the problem, checked it all out, let us know that there wasn't a structural problem, then shimmed the door so that it worked better. He is a wonderfully friendly man and really knows what he is doing. He really put us a ease at a anxious time.
Description of Work: I called Bill Willman to do an inspection on a home we were buying in Mt.
