A little history. I moved from Washington State where I had granite installed about a year ago. I was referred to a granite company in Bozeman. When I called the Bozeman Company, the lady was rather short with me when I said I wanted a bid and to get granite. (She asked whether I wanted a bid or to actually purchase.) I explained I wanted both, but was interested in knowing how much it was going to cost prior to the purchase. Dina works in the office at the Craftsman Corner and John, the owner, came out to measure and make templates (after I ordered). There are two other guys that do the installation. A word of advice. I choose my slab from the slabs they had at the yard. The slab looked black and white, but once it was installed it had a darker look. I am not sure if the slab in the yard was not polished or not, but the final product was still very good looking. You may want to ask about the end color. I do understand that there are some difference when you order granite as it cannot all look exactly the same. I am very satisfied with the finished product. As like my previous granite installation, we had to deal with the plumbing issues. As I understand, most granite places simply do not do the plumbing. They even mixed my wall paint I had with the caulking to make the caulking (between the wall and the granite) match the paint color on my walls. A very professional touch.
