It didn't go.
Description of Work: I called and set an appointment for Thursday, Feb 1st. On that day I called first thing in the morning saying I was looking forward to showing them what work I needed. I called again at 1:00 p.m. and left another message on answering machine. I called again at 3:00 p.m. with another message. They never came and never called me back. On Friday, Feb 2nd I called and left a message to please let me know if they weren't interested and they never called me back. What rude behavior. I would never recommend them.

Buyer Beware!! While we got a response and a "No worries, we can do it" attitude, when it came time for the actual work, 4 (!) workers showed up, 3 of which were temporary workers. They were late, and did not follow directions well (many throw away items ended making the trip to the new locale because they mixed up the "keep" piles while loading). Some keep items were left behind. The real shock came when it was time to pay the bill. It was twice the amount we were quoted, with a lot of "reasons" (read excuses!) for why we were being charged several hundred dollars more than we were quoted for the job. We were stuck paying for all these workers, as well as haul off charges that we were told were included in the quote. We would definitely NOT business with this company again. Very unprofessional, and a very expensive lesson.
Description of Work: We needed a garage with some keep items loaded, and moved to a new location, as well as having them haul off some unwanted items either a landfill or a donation center.

They never responded with a quote so no work was done.
Description of Work: I called to get a quote on some light landscaping work--planting--and was called back two days later. After we talked through the project I never heard back from them.

I'm still assessing the damage. So far, I've barely made a dent into the storage unit and I'm really quite concerned as to what else I am going to find. Several irreplacable glass keepsakes were broken. None of the glass I've come across so far was wrapped in anything, even though several boxes of newspaper and a pile of bubble wrap were available - 1 glass piece was even on the bottom of a pile of canned goods! An irreplacable heirloom baby sweater I had packed in a box with little else; they decided that box needed more packed into it - so they took an unemptied oil burner and threw it on top (spilling the thick, used oil all over the sleeve) then to top it off, they tossed in some sand sculptures from my wedding (spilling those as well.) My bouquet from my best friend's wedding was also completely destroyed. Clean clothes that were hanging in a closet were packed into a filthy box with gardening supplies (including miracle grow granules) - obviously not able to be worn until I get them laundered. Nice shoes were shoved into a gym bag with other shoes - several pairs are crushed and/or scuffed and 1 pair of beaded sandals is now missing a couple of beads. I have not been able to work my way back to my nice dining room table, but other smaller tables are on top of it with no protection in between. An old table cloth is folded right next to it though!! At least one of the padded dining room chairs has a tear in it. They are so precariously stacked on top of boxes, barstools and other things, I can't get to them all to see how many others are damaged. I can also see a pile of antique books (another sentimental thing and a complete set of 15) stacked (without any kind of covering and not in any kind of box) in a back corner of the storage unit. There was a section of the storage unit were they stacked boxes of heavy books (which I had packed weeks ago and were therefore first to be ready to go) on top of lightweight plastic containers. Some (if not several, since I haven't located all my plastic containers) are broken. Even if nothing had been damaged, they did a very poor job packing. I even tried to make it easy by grouping items together so that they would be packed together, but they spread them out. For example, I had several decorative bathroom items on a counter next to the small box to put them in (preferably with the glass items wrapped.) They had these items spread out between 4 large boxes mixed in with canned goods and other foodstuffs. The small box was perfect for these items when I unpacked those large boxes and repacked the bathroom stuff into it.
Description of Work: I am disabled so my father-in-law hired them to pack and move some things into storage. (This is also why I don't really know the actual cost, but whatever it was, it wasn't worth it.) So far, not a single box does not need to be repacked to keep from damaging the items in them (what wasn't already damaged anyway) and nice furniture was not protected during the moving part. Several items have been broken, ripped, scratched, or in some way ruined beyond repair. Many have irreplacable sentimental value.

They scratched the dryer during the move. No others problems.
Description of Work: Moved our washer & dryer from our old house to the new one. The old house had them in a cramped basement with very steep stairs.

Spoke with a nice friendly gentleman on Friday, 1/25/13 re a nasty clean up job I needed done under my house after it was determined a cat had been living under there. We spoke for a good 15 minutes and he said they could and would do it and would call me on Monday 1/28 to set up a time to come and look. I needed this job done ASAP as it smelled really bad and he knew that. No one called all day Monday so I called them again and was told I was speaking to the owner, Dave. He apologized and said he never got the message from Charlie. He was on a job right then but would call me back the next day to yes, set up a time to come and look. No call the next day. I was not going to call them again - I don't do babysitting and generally really don't care for disreputable people. End of story.

Without a doubt my worst moving experience ever. I had to do a great deal of the work even though I was paying $100/ hour for only 2-guys and I had to pay additional for the moving van. I left the experience feeling taken advantage of to the point of feeling robbed. They were completely rude and unprofessional. I was so frustrated at one point I thought the situation would come to blows. If I was a little younger, I would have refused to pay them and told them to shove it. I cannot emphasize enough at how horrible this experience was. It fascinates me that in such a small community that these people have been able to stay in business providing such a ridiculously unpleasant experience.
Description of Work: I hired "We do Anything, inc" to assist with a small move (a 10x20 storage unit) to my new house 20-miles away. I figured that by hiring "professionals" I could make this a painless and smooth move. I spoke to Dave the owner on the phone and agreed to $100 per hour, assuming a 3-4 young guys would show up to finish the job in no time at all. Boy was I wrong: Right off the bat, 2 guys showed up a half hour late, apologetically, so it was forgiven. However, by that stage I had personally moved 1/3 of the storage unit. Once the guys started working, it all started to go wrong. Constant complaining about moving heavy things- not by the helper who was perfectly sound, but by the owner Dave. It went all downhill from there. Totally unprofessional, complained the entire time about the fact that they were moving- especially concerning considering they claim to be movers; a spurious claim at best. Threatened to charge extra for 1) going down 6 stairs 2) to move a filling cabinet 3) about things fitting things through doorways without even trying (and they threatened to charge for having to try to fit)- and all items fit with no problem. Showed up 30-minutes late and then disappeared for 30-minutes "to get another truck" and had the audacity to charge for the time. Worst moving experience I have ever had, and have moved many times in my life. I guess they like to take advantage of old, retired people.

They were on time, very professional, easy-going and helpful. They worked hard and did not waste any time while on the job. I will definitely use their services again.
Description of Work: They helped move furniture and items down the stairs, out of the house, and into the moving van. They even came to the new house and helped move it all in.
