I can’t say enough good things about working with Peter Harris. We had a construction emergency and Peter took care of it skillfully and efficiently. Just after we went under contract to sell a family member’s condo, a water leak ruined the flooring and some cabinetry throughout the home. Immediately we struggled to work with the insurance company and find a contractor. Sourcing a reliable craftsman in Bozeman’s market seemed nearly impossible, and if we didn’t get the damage fixed quickly and competently, the water was likely to cause even more damage and we may have lost our buyer. With high praise, our realtor referred us to Peter. We were thrilled when he agreed to take on our job and ecstatic when we saw his work product was above reproach. Working with Peter was a joy, as well. He started the project almost immediately, gathering information for the insurance claim and ordering supplies. We live several hours from Bozeman and he was fine collaborating directly with our realtor for day-to-day issues. Peter kept us informed throughout and reached out to us for decisions when he needed approvals. Two months after Peter started the work, we closed on the condo. Thanks, Peter!

Several times we asked Peter if he had a Superman outfit hidden under his work attire. For every problem we encountered during the bathroom remodel, Peter had a solution. Every time we asked "Can we do this?" he answered "We can do whatever you want." He was so easy-going and always in a good mood. He turned a dated bathroom into a 5-star hotel experience. Peter did such a good job for us that we are planning to use his services again for a new deck. Thanks to Peter and his amazing wife/manager Piper!

The work that Peter did was good, but when we asked him to estimate a replacement for a water heater, he quoted us around $6,000-$7000 and then sent the final paperwork over at $9200. When I asked about the discrepancy, his response was “he wasn’t sure because he didn’t write it.” That seemed odd because he owns the company. He refused to answer any more of our polite emails asking about the water heater. We would expect more professionalism from someone we used in the past and paid money to.

He was always on time and got the job done quickly. The electrician and plumber were scheduled quickly and did a great job as well. I will definitely hire him again for future jobs. Everything ran very smoothly and the bathroom looks great. He also stayed under budget

Taking into account the fickle fall weather here, it went exceptionally well. Our original intention was to fix a few leaks with a patch job. Upon opening up the roof, the contractor found some rotted joints and sheathing, along with water-damaged insulation. Determined it'd be better to construct a whole new roof support, Consequently, the cost went from $5400 to $6900. But we were assured the new roof would last 25-30 years. Their boss was very knowledgeable and personable, reiterating to call him anytime if any problems evolve. I believe Simple Works can easily set the standard for other roofers in Gallatin Valley (Montana).

They were so good I would recommend them to anyone that need work.
