They did have to contract some of the move in the Portland Oregon, but they were in charge of the entire move. Frankie, the driver, was awesome! He made sure he talked to all my neighbors on both ends as far as blocking driveways and what would be expected for them. The move went well. They were really easy to work with. They went out of their way to work with me on the timing delay of moving into my house in Montana.

The first, I moved from north of Bozeman into Bozeman. All went well until after the Mergenthaler crew left, when items they reassembled started to fall apart and/or show they weren't reassembled properly. The bed fell through the frame to the ground. My desk was disassembled for the move and was not put together properly; one leg is still askew, and is completely crooked. One drawer of my dresser no longer works properly as the mechanism was broken during the move. When I wrote the company about my situation, I heard absolutely nothing back. The second, my next door neighbors in town moved, and their Mergenthaler crew dragged their moving van into and through my boulevard trees, breaking numerous branches. When I went over to talk to the crew to ask them to be careful when they moved the truck, they all ignored me. Completely. When I called the office Stacy, who answered the phone, was not helpful, saying she would only call the crew and ask them to move the truck out of my tree where it was currently parked. They not only did not move the van, but they broke more branches pulling out, when they left. I can't believe this company can stay in business with this level of customer service.
