The entire experience was great. The person on site was knowledgeable and courteous. He was honest and told me that our tank could probably go longer between pumpings. I appreciated his honesty and they have won my loyalty. In my first experience with Little Stinkers some years ago, they used a truck that pumped out good smelling scents to counteract that bad smells - it actually worked quite well. Unfortunately, the good smelling stuff wasn't used on this last service - I hope they bring that idea back.

Discovered septic system back up at a line cleanout in the yard on Saturday morning and called Little Stinkers on a recommendation from a local plumbing comapny that we've used in the past. Got LS's answering service, but no call back. I called again first thing on Monday morning and they apologized for not calling back over the weekend; blamed it on the answering service, and scheduled a prompt service call. Josh was delayed about 20-30 minutes, but called to let us know. Once he got here he quickly analyzed the probelm, fixed it and let us know what we can do to avoid the situation in the future. Problem included a clogged effluent biofilter and holding tank inlet pipe. He showed us how to easily clean both and suggested an inspection schedule (6 mos to a year). He also inspected an abandoned holding tank and suggested replacing the lid but didn't think it needed to be pumped. He pumped out the operational holding tank. Josh was very professional, knowledgable, friendly and willing to answer questions. Other than the delay in contact over the weekend, our experience with these little stinkers was very positive. One hopes we won't need them again for another 4 or 5 years when the tank needs to be pumped again, but we'll definitely use them. Price is based on gallons pumped (1500) @ $0.225/gal ($337.50) . Josh had to locate and dig out the holding tank lid and that cost an additional $23.00.
