Ryan and his crew are top notch! They originally did all of the HVAC work in my home. About 18 months after construction was complete, the starlings began to find their way into the vents of our bathroom exhaust. Within a few days, they had nested and laid eggs. I purchased some hooded vent louvers/hoods with screens and gave Alpine a call to schedule an appointment for them to come install them. As it wasn't a warranty issue, I offered to pay them, however Ryan refused payment. He and his crew showed up the same day to complete the work and had everything wrapped up in an hour. The birds were evicted, my new vent covers were installed, and all was perfect again. To boot, they even checked up on my furnace and replaced my filter, free of charge. Ryan called a few days later to make sure the birds were staying out, to make sure I had his phone number, and to let him know if we had ANY issues moving forward. (We have noticed that they are now installing exterior louvers/hoods similar to ours to prevent any problems moving forward. Just goes to show they listen to their customers!) I can't say enough good about Alpine, Ryan, and his crew. Professional, great work, and they ACTUALLY SHOW UP WHEN THEY SAY THEY WILL.! It's so hard to get contractors to come back after a job is complete... NOT Alpine! These guys are awesome.
Description of Work: Repair and reinstallation of bathroom exhaust fan venting and louvers. Also a furnace checkup and filter replacement.

We're 4th and 5th generation from the Gallatin Valley. Alpine operates like the old businesses did. They do care about their customer's and have integrity. We wouldn't consider having anyone else or any other company work on our rentals or the home we live in. HONESTY is rare these days and true CUSTOMER SERVICE is like winning the jackpot. Kudos to Alpine and Ray of Alpine. You folks are awesome. :) Thanks Deborah This is my 2nd review and I'm sure I'll do it again. Craigslist would only allow me to check one address. They service 3 addresses.
Description of Work: Alpine Heating and Cooling installed both gas, forced air heating systems in 2 condominiums we lease. These systems run perfectly for the tenants. Each year we have Alpine do a yearly maintenance to be sure everything is operating well, just before winter. This year I made my appointment a little late, but they made it happen during several days where we had extreme cold (-20 degree's) and they were so busy with customer's whose systems had broken down. Here's what proved their integrity. My appointment was scheduled weeks before the extreme cold snap. I received a call asking if I would be upset if they moved my appointment to a few days later because they had families whose systems were not working. Of course I said "Yes, no problem" because if any of our systems were down in such cold weather I would hope they would somehow fit us or our tenants in quickly. This was proof to me that they CARE about their customer's! Ray from Alpine (my favorite but I believe they are all wonderful!) got in to the units (I know he must have been very busy) a day or so later and checked them out. All was good. They don't come up with false fixes to charge you, ever! Once Ray mentioned (very respectfully) that we were putting our filters in the wrong way. LOL's! We're not furnace people. What a great bunch of people.

Basically the details are contained above. All went very well. The work went quickly, Ray had all the parts necessary in his truck and the charge was much less than I had expected.
Description of Work: This is one of three trips for various reasons. Ray had serviced the furnace for prior owner and came to the house to explain the system. $39 charge. Second visit was to replace a control panel that shorted due, probably, to power surge. Third visit was to repair a minor part for which there was no charge. Ray was prompt and very professional. On the second visit, the furnace was not working and the temperature was below zero. He was at the house within 90 minutes of my call. On the third visit the furnace was again not working and he arrived 30 minutes after my call.

He fit us in at the end of the day to check out the furnace. He went into the crawl space of both of my units to check. He found that the one that had stopped working was because the filter was so filthy. The other filter was not very dirty, but he changed them both. He brought his own filters with him. He even took the filters to my tenants to show them how dirty their filter was. He let them know that it was probably from burning candles all day. I was very impressed that he would speak to them for me. He really went above and beyond. He also had a young lady with him that he was training. He was very respectful to her, which is a big deal. He was also very respectful and kind to my tenants. It was very cold out, and he was here for an hour. I would not have been surprised if he had charged me twice as much as he did. He did not charge me for the filters, and they are around $8.00 each for me to buy. They are very honest and nice people. It was a great experience.
Description of Work: We called him, because the furnace in one of the condos went out. The condos are only one year old, and I change the furnace filters frequently.
