I had extensive hail damage and called Clay with Sprague. He handled 100% of everything from picking out and installing new windows, siding, roof, gutters, and a new deck. He also handled the insurance aspect of the process. All I had to do was stay out of the way. They were very professional and were able to deal with any situation as they came up. They were also on point with safety. I didn’t have to worry about any cutting corners, quality trumped speed. Thanks Sprague, I will use you next time for sure. Art Hazen

Communication was lacking. We had a signed contract for a certain colored shingle (barkwood which is brown) and they installed a totally different color (Weathered wood) which is not even close as you can see by the picture. Also we were never asked about the color of the trim on our house as the gutter contractor did before he installed. We have white steel trim and Sprague installed dark brown drip edge on the white trim.

Excellent. Wilbur and Mike were very responsive. They finished work that was started by another contractor and made it look seamless. Mike has a great personality. I really enjoyed talking to him. He listened !! Analysed the problem and took action. I will never go with another roofing company.

A++++! This was our 3rd roof in 6 years (due to hail) that Sprague replaced. This time around, they managed to get all that work done in ONE week to meet our house closing deadline. Our point man from Sprague was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, accommodating and kept us updated on all details. I highly recommend this company.

Surprise! Surprise! They came when they said they would, called us to verify we were home, were very professional and did a great job. The fee was reasonable. Getting service when promised is a rare thing in Billings anymore, and we really appreciative of the overall service.

The roofers were pleasant and efficient. There were 17 here the first day for tearing off the old. They did not do a super job of cleanup & day's end but better @ job end.

Company worked hard to keep costs within estimate & insurance payments. All staff (office & field) polite & professional. Recommend this company.

Jack took excellent care of us and even moved us up in priority since we were moving. This was our 2nd time using their services, and I would strongly recommend them to all!

One day to rip off old roof. 1-2 days new roof - they did it very timely when we were out of town, left many nails on driveway.

This is my second experience using Sprague Roofing to repair. All damage done from a hail storm. I would always use them.

Sprague was GREAT. Work was done in a prompt and professional manner. The roof replacement took one day! We had to wait for siding to arrive from the supplier, but once it was in the siding was completed in as just a short amount of time. The gutter crew not only replace out gutters, they added an additional downspout to take care of the runoff from a long side of the roof! Our contact person was Gavin Gleich and he was ALWAYS in touch with us giving us updates. Jack Sprague and his company have our roofing business as long as we live here in Billings!

Everyone at Sprague is attentive to detail – they listen, they care, they follow through and we were impressed with professionalism of all repair persons as well.

I called for an estimate on my roofing need. They had a representative come out to house within a couple of days. He showed the colors of roof, I selected one. He told me where I could see the roof color on other people home-he gave me over.

They did a great job, on time. Pleasant to work with, even the roofers. Office personnel were professional, returned call promptly-cleaned up the yard in a timely manner-good job.

Sprague Construction came with a reasonable bid for the job, were very courteous and completed it in a timely manner.

Except for one snag in communication and viewing of actual work to be done. Otherwise, crew was punctual, efficient, worked fast & hard and completed the re-roof in 2 days. They knew their work! Would use again? Maybe!

Had deadline to get roof under contract and their office personnel were very helpful. They came and did the roof in timely manner. We have regular roof and lean-to patio. Did great hob on regular roof but had to come back twice for patio. I just do not think they would have done the owner's roof the same way.

All workers are clean, happy, kind, responsive to questions and gates staying closed. Told me nails on ground so shouldn't let dog our for his safety.

Gavin was very responsive and answered any concerns I had. Even though they were extremely busy, I was fit into the schedule and taken care of.

I am overall pleased with the quality of the work and the appearance of my work. I've gotten compliments on it. They even redid the roofing over my garage and carport so that everything would match. The work was done very rapidly once the roofers arrived. They also handled hiring the guy who fixed the damage in my ceiling, and he did a very good job as well. The price seemed reasonable to me, at least based on what others in town have told me they have paid for similar work, maybe a little higher (though that may be due to additional sheathing that was needed). I have only two complaints about the job. The first complaint was that it took the company well over a year to get to my job started. Part of that was the extremely large number of hail damaged roofs being repaired in town that year, of course, but it was still excessive. Apparently the contractor I was dealing with, though, was particularly slow and is no longer with their company. I know this because the owner himself called me to apologize for the delay. Once I was dealing with Jack Sprague directly, things progressed speedily, so I don't believe this slowness necessarily represents their typical speed. Based on that, I could only rate their speed as a C overall. The other complaint is that after taking down my front gutters to install flashing, they did not return to put them back up again. Overall, I would say that my experience with this company was positive, though, and I would call them again if I needed additional work.
