After three weeks of "runaround" I was finally on phone with initial estimator, who said yes it (second proposal) is high and we don't want to do the work left off second proposal. When asked why estimator said, "since you won't let us do the siding job also that's just what I decided to do" so I replied congratulations, can't use any of your services. I've also since learned that Sprague is hiring subcontractors for many jobs rather than directly performing as Sprague roofing.

Jack did a good job all around. Coordinated with insurance company to get a complete replacement where needed when they wanted us to replace just part of our siding. The finished job was just beautiful. We had another storm event in the summer of 2014. We needed to replace the roof again. Tried to use Sprague again, but he would not respond to us. Figured we had something coming from being a past customer, but he simply refused to return any calls. We called and called and called over a period of several months before finally giving up and going with another contractor. If he did not want our job, we would have appreciated a response saying so.

These people came and gave us an estimate and were very friendly and seemed willing to do the job. We explained in summer of 2013 when they came to measure that work must be completed by spring of 2014 or we would lose a significant portion of our insurance reimbursement. We were assured that there would be no problem getting the roof completed by that time. Initially we called several times inquiring as to when they would do the job. They kept telling us it was to windy or to cold Etc. All this while neighbors were getting there new roofs .They finally quit answering their phone nor would they return our calls left on their voice mail. Finally we went to their office In person and of course it was denied that they had promised to finish by spring of 2014. Anyway we lost the insurance money because of them. They finally sent someone back to re-measure in summer of 2014. That person measured a home about a 1/4 mile from our place.. (The people were not home). Another neighbor told us they saw a Sprague truck at the other neighbor so we called a told them we think they measured the wrong place the 2nd time. They assured us that did not happen. A few days later they decided maybe they did measure the wrong house and sent someone back to measure a third time. Long story short, we finally got the new roof but they forgot to include the drip edge. At this point we sold the place and gave a check for the full amount of the project to the new buyer. His inspector found the roof was put on incorrectly and they came back and re-did half of the roof and installed the drip edge.

They were easy to work with and the jobs were well done.

The first time they returned my call the lady said they would be out to measure up my roof and give me an estimate but she forgot to get my address. So she called back about an hour later to get my address and told me that they would Google earth my address and send me an estimate and that was the last I ever heard from them. That was 4 months ago. I would never use them after that.

Our roof had wind damage and the insurance paid for replacement. Sprague Construction Roofing dealt with the insurance company and replaced the roof.

Were promised job would be complete by 4/1/14 as we lost 1400.00 from insurance money if not. Job started July 2014- They came to measure 4 diff. times. They even measured a neighbor by mistake and would have roofed them if we hadn't stopped them. They don't answer phone- Generally you get their voicemail. They do not return calls.

Sprague was super to work with. Phil Cathey always returned our calls and provided timely service. His work crew were neat in tearing off shingles and considerate with providing a great job.

Not good.Only come out to check roof if I tell/show how much I have to work .

He actually subcontracted the work out to a group of Hondurans here from Memphis for the summer to do roof installations. We have had two massive hail storms - one on September 7th 2013 and a second round on May 18th of this year. The Hondurans did a fabulous job! Very professional and had everything totally cleaned up before they left. I recommend Franklins crew completely. Sprague Roofing was almost non responsive trying to arrange the install after having signed a contract in March. Didn't return calls, etc. I understand them being swamped but really? How long does a phone call take.

There were several employees on-site for several days. Only complaint was getting home to see man standing on my roof smoking cigarettes and using foul language when grade school kids walking home.

They are a local company and have been here for a few years. They were quick with a bid, which was nice. They said they use the same program as the insurance companies do to make your bid so they would have same satellite measurements and price as the insurance estimate. I was having a disagreement with the insurance company and had to obtain supporting bids to accompany my appeal and found someone I liked better that was recommended and a friend-of-a-friend with a reputable company. While these guys were professional, I felt very rushed and hurried - pressed - to sign a contract right away and I didn't like that. They also called me many times over the months during my appeal process, even though I said I would call back when the process was done and I had made a decision. That was the straw that broke the camel's back, I don't respond well to feeling that way. In their defense, they were being thorough in their followups. After I had left the secretary a message that I wan't using them, they left me another voicemail message and also showed up at my house one day to talk to me. I will say that their bid price was good and their package/presentation was very professional.

Bid came in fall of 2013. Work done in May of 2014. Came whe nschedule. Did the job in timely manner, cleaned up thoroughly.

They were punctual, easy to work with and idi an outstanding job.

Last Fall, I called Sprague Roofing to have a leak in our roof checked. I was told by the receptionist that someone would call me back to schedule a time to come out and check the leak. After a couple of weeks with no call, I called back and talked to the receptionist again. She reassured me that I WOULD get called back soon. It's been months and I never received a call about checking on my roof leak. I can understand if a roofing company is busy with bigger jobs and doesn't have the time or manpower to fit in smaller jobs. However, they should be honest with the customer and tell them that they can't work on the job so the customer isn't "hanging on the line" and can call another company. So, instead of having a customer that might come back when I have a bigger job to accomplish, they have a customer that will ABSOLUTELY go somewhere else for roofing work. For all I know, Sprague does great work. That means absolutely nothing if they won't respond to calls about hiring them for work.

At first, it was looking pretty good. The materials were good quality. However, the clean-up was poor, with nails, and paper trash left on the ground, and strings left hanging from the roof. The furnace in the attic was not covered before the work and ended up with lots of sawdust and other materials left on it, so it had to be cleaned out by a professional. The exhaust pipes for the water heater and furnace were switched (different sizes) and not even attached to the outside, so carbon monoxide could have built up dangerously if the smoke/fire alarm in the attic had not alerted me to it. They did come back when I called to fix the exhaust pipes. Lastly, they refused to return a toolbelt with tools (approx. $250 value) that belonged to my son and was left in their truck. Even after talking to one of the bosses who promised to have the toolbelt left at their office and then didn't, all I got was a run-around and the boss yelling at me on the phone telling me he had better things to do to run his multimillion dollar business.

I called the owner again he came out to look at the tempoary patch of the leak and he took pictures of the roof ad said he would get back to me in two days that was over three weeks ago still have not heard from him

My neighborhood experienced two damaging hailstorms in the late part of summer of this year (2013). Nearly every house in the neighborhood needed roof repair or replacement. The two hailstorms were about a month apart, which meant that repairs done after the first storm had to be re-done after the second storm. Sprague roofing company was in very high demand, and many customers had signed up for their services before I did. Therefore, I ended up at the end of their work list (due to my own tardiness, not theirs), which meant that the repairs would have to wait for late spring of 2014. You cannot do very much outside work in Billings, MT, in the winter due to low temperatures. Based on my interactions with them, and their good reputation for their work, I am confident that they will come through with a good job on my home. I have a complete, signed contract from Sprague, ready to be executed in the springtime.

Sprague showed up quickly and assessed the roof for minor hail damage. The assessment was honest and professional, which was a major help since our house is for sale. We would absolutely use their services again for any roofing needs and will recommend them to others in the Billings area.

All of my contact with Sprague has been positive.

All went well. - everyone involved was very respectful, they cleaned up after themselves, started when the promised and finishd on time. A great group of workers.

This company is very honest & ethical. They provided a thorough and most comprehensive report I've ever seen.

They were just fine. I would use them again in the future.
