Roto-Rooter - Billings

They originally set the appointment for October 30 (not bad if you only shower monthly). then they called and said they could come on October 1 instead; then they called and said he was running late and set the appointment for Oct 2; he didn't make that one so they called and asked about Oct 3. We told them we had had enough.

The home with the cracked sewer line was built in 1935 and the sewer line and clean out were made of cast iron. For some reason the cast iron pipe cracked about one foot above the basement floor, right where the sewer exits the house. The concrete floor in the basement had to be jackhammered out to replace the cracked sewer line. Bill, the plumber assigned the task, did an outstanding job in, what I felt, was a minimal amount of time. To say I was impressed with the skill of this plumber, would be an understatement. Great job at a reasonable price. A floor drain was also cleaned, two days earlier, by a technician named Roland, who also did a great job.

Although in the end, the plumbing issue was caused by a city line and not my own, Jerry was very thorough in checking out the problem and contacting others to see what the problem was. I would highly recommend Jerry and the team from Roto-Rooter. We have been using their services for years.

It was really good. I thought that they did a good job, prices were reasonable. The guy was really polite and did his job well and it worked out good. They were kind of busy but they did eventually make it out.

Fast response. Was knowledgeable in how to fix my problem. Repair took only a few minutes. Very clean; would not have know he was even there. Thought the price was a little high due to the small amount of work I needed done.

I used ROTO-ROOTER - BILLINGS

They sent only a technician to work on a home built in 1930. He worked on the clog, broke the pipe and informed me he was going to have to tear out my bathroom cabinet and wall to fix the plumbing or he can't get the pipe to fit properly. I kindly asked him to remove his tools as this was a job he wasn't qualified to do. You don't fit modern pieces to 1930 plumbing... you fit the plumbing to what is there. If you use them - MAKE SURE YOU REQUEST A PLUMBER or who knows what they will send you. So after the bill I have a sink I can't use, broken pipe (which the tech took with him), a messy floor to clean up and still the original problem to fix. Lesson learned!!!

They were prompt and had good service. They are individual licensed contractors working under Roto-Rooter, they are subcontractors. I was a little paranoid because, I don't like plumbing to begin with. After it was all said and done with, I could have kicked myself, and said, I could have done that myself. I know they have a high overhead. I will not use them again in the future.
