Pierce Flooring & Cabinet Design Center

They came out to give us a quote, and we ordered the product. When the installers came out to install they said there was no way they could install, the floor was too unlevel. This was the same floor Pierce came and looked at, and we pointed out the heaves and sags and they sold us a floor they said would work with it no problem that was more expensive. So we had to pay to level the floor anyways. Overall they came in 8 weeks behind schedule and 40% over budget. Installers were super nice, and overall did a B+ job. There are a couple spots they could have done better, and for the price I honestly would have expected them too. They also can NOT shave doors, so you better have a contractor or the skills to shave doors yourself if your new floor is going to be higher.

Pierce Flooring and Design were very good. They have been in business for years and they are very conscientious. They are very willing to work with you if you are unhappy with them. They are just very respectable and a very good business.

With a great reputation over many years, Pierce's was my first choice. While in the show room, I had to ask someone for help even though there were 2 sales people roaming around the store looking bored. When I was waited on I got the same disinterested, bored interaction and very little information in comparing different types of flooring as to pro's and con's of each product. I dropped by a second time and had to ask for help then too. That time, the one sales person I saw pointed to the area I should start looking and rushed off, never to return. I was extremely irritated both times. I have used this company in the past, but it has been at least 5 years ago. This was so disappointing given their great service then. I would give them another chance when I need flooring, but they definitely didn't get my business this time.
