MONTANA'S HOME INSPECTION SVC

Rick came out and installed a very complete radon system. He did a great job hiding all vents. Recommended.

Rick checked the home according to the checklist he uses. He reported deficiencies he found. He missed a an obvious leak in the upstairs bathtub that should have been caught, had he actually checked everything on the list fully and completely. I called him back to have him remedy the problem but he said it was just my bad luck that it only occurred after he was there. He refused to have it fixed or give a refund. The leak was evident at the first use of the bath and has not stopped since. Rick does not stand behind his work or his word. I would not recommend him to anyone. He also reported that all of the windows were in good working order. This also turned out to be false as many of the windows will not lock and others will not open. The walk through was rushed and incomplete. He did not operate anything or show everything that was marked as needing attention on the list. He did not use the report to go item by item, instead he went from memory which covered most but not all. Overall he is lacking and does not stand behind his work. I told my realtor not to recommend him in the future.
