Of all the Plumbing contractors I called, Midland Mechanical quoted me the most reasonable price for the 6 year water heater including installation. My appointment was originally scheduled for a Wednesday which was two days after the day I called. Chris, the person that I was dealing with, called the next day and said their plumbers had an emergency they were dealing with and asked if they could reschedule for Thursday which I was agreeable to. On Thursday, Pete Johnston, the installer, showed up a couple hours later than expected, and completed the removal and installation of the water heaters. The job was completed in approximately, two hours. From what I can tell, Pete did an outstanding job and was great to deal with. Cost of the water heater and fittings was $539.00. Labor was $85.00 an hour for a total of $170.00. There was also a $15.00 trip charge. Overall, I was very pleased with the cost and the quality of the work performed. Everyone I dealt with at Midland Mechanical, including Pete, Chrisand Corrine were wonderful to deal with and very accommodating. With the exception of, a later than expected arrival time on the day of the installation, everything was perfect. I would highly recommend this contractor to anyone that needs to replace a water heater. I would not hesitate to call Midland Mechanical for any of my plumbing needs.
