The two workers were very pleasant and professional. The deck had overhead boards and a complicated railing. They took off all the spindles and refinished and stained each one, then reattached them. Most of the work was probably in the sanding, since both ramp and deck were extremely weathered. It was amazing how new both items looked when the job was done. The only thing I would change was that they have limited color choices in their spray-on finish. I got a dark redwood look. After two years I'm in the middle of re-staining the ramp with a high quality product that will probably last longer. The deck still looks fine. It's more protected and gets less traffic. As a "do it yourself" project, this would have taken many, many hours. Because these people do this all the time, they are very quick and know what they're doing. I would definitely recommend them.

Deck Tech people are professional and pleasant. They gave me a quote early in August and said I was "on the list" but if they didn't get to me by mid-September they would wait until spring so I would not be paying for refinishing right before winter. They contacted me around August 24 and said they had an opening, so they did the work August 28 and 29. They had warned me that the ramp was in really bad shape and would not look good as new, but the deck would look new. They were right, except the ramp looks better than expected. I give them an A for everything they did, and a B for price, which might not be fair, but I didn't get any other bids so I can't judge. They had to do a LOT of sanding. I would definitely recommend them.
