I called Apple: had a new brick w/ cord overnight.
Description of Work: Brought in the MacBook Pro I'd purchased there: the connector from the brick to the computer wouldn't conduct electricity. Service person verified this by using their brick. Computer charged fine, was under Apple extended service contract also purchased there."We have to keep your computer three or four days to perform the service." "Why: we just verified that the problem is with the brick's connector cord?" "Because that's our policy: those are the rules around here." "Well, I also have rules: I don't put up with senseless horse-s***".
