Tech said the fins were dirty causing it not to cool and cleaned fins, saw little dirt. I pointed out condenser fan was not running fast, he ignored. Found later that the fan was bad. They did nothing to fix the problem

Went okay...there was some confusion at first. We had been customers previously at a different house. They updated the address but left all the specifics about the system as if it was the old address. It ended up taking 2 trips but made it right. Pricing reflects contract for spring air conditioning units as well.

The estimate was done quickly and the work was professional. The workman were considerate and thorough. I am very pleased with this company and highly recommend them!

Called in to the phone number and was pleased that the stated on the message how much after hours and holiday charges are, so there was no surprise there. The technician (Tom) was at the house within and hour and let me know exactly what he was doing to make the repair and gave some suggestions on how to keep the issue from coming back.

Our floor trusses made it difficult to minimize huge duct runs---but the workmen followed directions and the basement ceiling is attractive. We had asked for a dehumidifier in the bid, and when it got overlooked they apologized & ordered it. All is working well! Both the basement and the main floor are comfortable, and the service tech was very thorough (and patient) in explaining how things work (especially the new filtration system).

Came on scheduled day and actually called to see if they could come earlier since they had a cancellation. Our repair guy was great! Friendly, knowledgable, and explained all what was wrong. Was able to use the 5% Angie coupon offered on their page! Would definitely call them again when needed.

Everything went awesome! Jeff came out within a couple of days of us contacting him to assess our situation and give us an estimate. He was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond our expectations. He made suggestions without being pushy. His estimate was a bit lower than our other estimates, but it was his knowledge and helpfulness that ultimately led us to choose comfort heating. He even gave us information about rebates that we may be eligible for. Our installation was scheduled within a week of us approving the estimate. The technician we had was amazing. He was professional, courteous and also very knowledgeable. He exceeded our expectations. He made sure all my questions were answered and that I knew whom to contact in case any other questions or issues should arise. He even did his best to answer all my questions about my furnace and duct work. I am very clueless when it comes to these kinds of things and at no point did I ever feel dumb about asking questions. I am very much looking forward to working with these wonderful people again!

Installed heating system. Air conditioning unit will be installed this spring. So far they have been wonderful to work with. Crew was professional and prompt. We love the heating system. Will update when we have air-conditioning unit installed.

It was a Sunday night and my furnace was not putting out any heat. So, I told my husband to call and make an appointment with Comfort Heating and Air Conditioning. We have always had them repair our furnace in the past and they have taken care of all maintenance etc. My husband gets an appointment for that day at 1:00 PM not ideal considering he is on night shift but it will have to work. The first technician finds that our furnace ignitor is burnt out so he replaced that. He also cleaned flame sensor, checked and adjusted gas pressure. The furnace was working at this point, and the total bill was $140( 1 hour of labor and $60 part) At around 3:00 PM my husband was heading off to work when he noticed that the furnace was not kicking on and the house temp was decreasing. He runs downstairs and checks a few things and sees that the furnace fuse was blown. He replaces the fuse and the furnace starts working again. I get a text from him at work to pick up another fuse so we have a backup fuse when we need it. I grabbed a few after work as he suggested. After being home for about an hour, I noticed that it was cooling down once again. Sure enough the temp had dropped another 3 degrees. I went to check the fuse to see if it was blown and it was. I tried to call Comfort Heating but they were closed(5:30 PM) Their machine stated that after hours rates were $120(no way was I going to pay that) and if you wanted to leave a message you could and they would call you the next business day. I left a message asking if someone could be available at 9:30 AM when my husband gets into town because he is working night shift and that we would really appreciate it. Also, I told them to call him at around 9 AM (because that is usually when he gets cell service) to let him know what time they would be able to come to the house. Well, he does get a call but its not to confirm an appointment but rather to let him know that they are sitting outside our house and wondering why no one is home. He informed the technician that he was out of town but should be in town in about 30 min. He gets to the house at 9:30 and the second technician checks the furnace out. He checked for short ground, blower motor winding's, inducer motor winding's, amperage of ignitor, inducer, blower motor. He checks for total amps which were 7.5, our fuse is only good for 6 1/4. The tech tells my husband how they always have to put 15 amp fuses in homes that have our furnace. So the second bill ends up being $126.30. He was only there for one hours worth of labor , but bills us for the 30 min he was waiting outside our home. Also, we have had one of their technicians at our house over a dozen times in the last 8 years, and not one has ever said that the fuse we were using was inadequate. I am really unhappy about the service that this company has provided. I thought to call and confront them but I was not sure what good it would do to argue with them. Its not like they are going to give me my money back. I apologize for the length but it was kind of a long story. I will not be a returning customer. I hope that someone will find this helpful!

As I was going to get my mail one morning I discovered the carpet in front of the cold air return for my furnace was soaked. I found the area under the furnace was full of water. I called Comfort Heating and unfortunately they didn't have an appointment available for 3 days. I shut the A/C off, used my shop vac to get the water picked up and went about running errands. The next afternoon I got a call that they had a cancellation and could come right out. The technician discovered that the condensate pump was not working. He replaced the pump and did some rewiring to his satisfaction. It took him about 2 hours so he was here until after 5. Because I had just replaced the furnace in February and the pump was new there was no charge. I have been a customer since 2005 and have never had a bad experience with them. They are prompt and clean up any mess they make. I have them out twice a year for annual maintenance on either the A/C or the furnace. The technicians are always very pleasant and professional. They have even helped me diagnose a problem over the phone rather than coming out after hours and charging me for something I could fix myself - a new battery in my thermostat comes to mind. I highly recommend them to anyone needing a new furnace or central air conditioning or someone needing service on an existing unit.

The tech was quick and professional. He performed the tune-up, cleaned the furnace filters, and removed all debris from the AC unit. I was pleased with his work and will call this company again.

Apparently my humidifier was working, but they changed the filter along with some other tests. I couldn't understand why they were doing all these other tests. As it turns out, they have a minimum of one hour charge, so they were doing things to justify the cost. otherwise it would have been $80 for a 15 minute call.

I have furnace which is about 6 years old and I started having problems with it firing about 3 months ago. I called a local HVAC company to troubleshoot my problem and repair the furnace. Well, 5 hours and $500.00 later they had it repaired, I thought. When I asked what the problem was the repairman was very elusive and would not give me an answer, Well to make long story short, I started having the same furnace issues about 3 months later. Determined not to use the same HVAC company I went to Angie's list and looked at the reviews, then made my choice. The first visit the repairman made lasted about 20 minutes and he had my furnace working again at a fraction of the previous HVAC companies cost. Well the story doesn't end there. I started having an issue again with the furnace a few days later. I again called the HVAC company, talked with manager and told him what I had been going through with my furnace. He assured me they would get it fixed for me and would send a technician right out. Tom, the technician called and said he would be out shortly and there would be no charge. He diagnosed the problem in about 30 minutes, charged me nothing and took the time to walk me through exactly what the problem was. He gave me a mini course on furnace operation and some easy preventative maintenance tips. I would definitely use them again and would refer them to anyone who wants a good, dependable, honest HVAC service provider. Kerry

WE CALLED THIS COMPANY TO COME AND CHECK OUT OUR FURNACE, BECAUSE IT WAS LEAKING ALOT OF WATER. WE CALLED ON NOV. 2 AND THEY WERE OUT ON THAT DAY. WE DECIDED WE NEEDED THE FURNACE REPLACED. WE KNEW THESE GUYS WERE REALLY BOOKED UP WITH SOME COMMERCIAL INSTALLATIONS, BUT THE WEATHER WAS EXPECTED TO TURN REALLY COLD AND SNOW THE FOLLOWING WEEK. THEY HAD THE NEW FURNACE INSTALLED 3 DAYS LATER, JUST BEFORE THE WEATHER TURNED BAD, WE WERE VERY GRATEFULL! THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB , CONSIDERING OUR FURNACE WAS 20 YRS OLD, RETROFITTED EVERY WHICH WAY TO SUNDAY, IN-EFFICIENT DUCT WORK, AND NOT TO MENTION WORKING IN A SPACE THE SIZE OF A DOOR! THEY ALSO HAVE EXCELLENT FINANCING PLANS. THEY DO ALL THE PAPERWORK AND ALSO WRITE UP THE PAPERWORK FOR STATE AND FEDERAL REBATES AND TAX CREDITS. THEY HAD JUST INSTALLED A NEW AIRCONDITIONING UNIT FOR US BACK IN JUNE, WHICH WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH, WHICH IS WHY WE CALLED THEM AGAIN FOR THE FURNACE.

I called Comfort Heating and Air Conditioning on June 27th. They were able to get an estimator out to the house the next day and were able to get the new equipment and get it installed within 10 days. They removed the old equpment and cleaned up. My parents and I were both pleased with the quality of the work nand the professionalism of the personnel.

They put in new heating and cooling in the homes that I build. Their prices are good. They stand by their work. They are good at coming out and fixing something if it's not correct. I would recommend them. They are reasonably priced and do a good job.

Furnace was damged by flood. Thought that I would end up getting a new one, but fixed it. No presssure. Answered the questions that I had and did what I wanted.

They are excellent. I will continue to use them in the future. It's not a bad price it breaks down to $75 a trip and it includes the filter.

Excellent. He showed up promptly and quickly diagnosed and explained the problem. In addition, he only charged me for the service call and not for fixing the problem (cleaning the probe), as it was an easy fix.
