I had used Brushfire for some interior work and they did a fantastic job. We had several painters before and Brushfire seem to be the only ones that know how to paint correctly, without a mess, and do it quickly. No streaking or paint stroke marks. Our exterior went the same way - quick, efficient, and actually earlier than they stated. We waited awhile for them due to the high volume they had ahead of them, but to get a job done correctly, it was worth it. No mess and cleaned up after themselves.
Description of Work: They scraped, caulked, and painted the entire exterior of the house

Description of Work: I contracted with Brushfire to paint the outside of my house in June, 2014. When they were finally able to paint my house, the crew was professional, were here when they said they would be here, worked hard while they were here, and respected my choices and concerns about not doing damage to the garden areas close to the house. The only difficulty I had was when they changed the starting date several times and, as a result, I waited for a year for the job to be done. However, I am very pleased with the results.

I would hesitate to use a company with this degree of professionalism. I know it is a busy season, but to return a call even to say you are fully booked is only common courtesy. Makes you wonder how they handle calls to have them come back to fix a small concern etc.
Description of Work: Called to get an estimate. Received voice mail. Left a message to contact me for an estimate. Never returned my call.

It didn't go, as noted above
Description of Work: Brushfire came and estimated painting the exterior of my home on 7/12/2014, bidding $7,381, and stated they could do the work in August, September or October. When I called on Sept 2, they informed me that "their schedule had filled up, and they wouldn't be able to do the work after all" Never called to notify me that this was going to happen, and clearly, they didn't care.

I was on the waiting list for July 2014, but there had been a severe storm at the end of May, and I was bumped up the list (I assume because those ahead of me needed to have damage repaired before the painting could take place). I got help from the owner in choosing a color, and once selected, they started the next day. The owner did the estimate, but I did not see him on-site during the painting. There may have been three workers and the one in charge knew what he was doing and asked me a few questions to make sure it turned out how I wanted. They left the scene in great shape. No complaints at all!

Everything was excellent except deck. The Restoration paint did not do well I believe due to the weather, they are returning this spring to redo the deck . They were prompt, courteous, and ee were pleased with how well they cleaned up the area. I would recommend their services. I rated the quality less until the deck is redone.

It went great. We previously had a mismatch of paint happening. Our ceilings had just been redone, we had guys trying to match paint, sheen, etc. and it ended up looking terrible. Lots of shortcuts were taken previously. Our paint never looked good from the day we moved in. Joe and his crew came in and did a tremendous job. Very little disruption, clean, efficient, and professional. Very happy with our paint job, would recommend anyone needing paint to use this crew.

Our previous painter bailed half way through the job. Brushfire came in and very quickly and efficiently got us caught up. They used our paint. They worked around our schedule. They worked fast and without complaint about our difficult situation. The job ended up being much more complicated than expected, and they honored the bid. They were very professional.
Description of Work: Brushfire Painting painted our trim, doors and stair railing. This included calking and two-three coats.

While painting the house they used the trim color for the back garage door, but repainted it with the house color after we decided against the white door. They also painted an additional storage shed to match the house - at no charge. They suggested products that would last and give us the best performance for years to come.
Description of Work: We contacted three companies for a bid to repaint our house, attached garage and deck. Brushfire painting was the only contractor that showed up, measured and submitted a detailed quote - for all three and individually. We knew exactly what we were going to receive and what was included. They painted the entire exterior, fascia, wood trim around doors and the overhead garage door. The floor of the deck was painted a product called DECK RESTORE as well as the stairs. This recommended product filled in the cracks and sealed the splinters for a texture finish that will last for years. Gutters and foundation were also painted to match and give the home a 'finished' look.

Our home, which has a cedar shake exterior, was built in the late 30's, and I do not think it had been professionally painted in that time. Since lead paint had been used, it had to be either removed or sealed. Joe explained all this, and described how he would do the job. He was very easy to talk to and answered all my questions. As this was late in the year, the weather was a constant concern, but whenever the crew could work, they did. The main job was finished within a week, and they returned at a time convenient to me to finish the follow-up details. I am very satisfied with his work, and feel very comfortable in referring anyone to use his business, which I have done.
