See above. I couldn't be happier. In the past I have spoken with so-called tree trimmers who are actually and quot;tree-toppers,and quot; which damages trees, and people who leave ugly stubs of and quot;armsand quot; sticking out from the trunk, and have literally told me that and quot; No, I can't tell them what I want removed, and quot; they will do it their way. Well, that doesn't fly with me. and quot;Best Tree Serviceand quot; is aptly named. They are the BEST! Their phone numbers are 406-671-0567 and 406-671-8487
Description of Work: Last summer a different tree trimmer I had hired, only did a partial job. He came and went over the course of weeks on end, never working more than 2 hrs at a time, never finishing the work to be done, and with me doing most of the cleanup. A couple of weeks ago I mentioned to someone that I needed a certified tree climber (the tree is a 50 to 60-year old elm, very tall, which had suffered damage in a storm several years ago, causing large splits to several limbs that were really high up.) The tree had at that time been cleaned up as far as no longer having dangerous huge limbs hanging down, but still needied proper collar-cuts and removal of one 4', large-diameter, splintered stub, plus very long limbs/branches that had again grown over my house and outbuildings, with three hanging down into an apple tree quite a distance away. There were also dead branches that I wanted to have removed. My neighbor suggested I call Best Tree Service, as he had once worked for them. I called, received a call back the following afternoon, and Leonard McCann, Professional Climber, came out the next day to give me an estimate. He said he'd try to work me in as soon as he had a partial-day opening. Last night he called and said he could come at 9:00 am today. He arrived on time, with a crew of two more men, and got right to work. These three were so professional, and so fast, while taking all necessary precautions as to their own safety and to ensure no damage to my property as the limbs and branches were cut off and brought carefully to ground, being first tied off. They removed my pergola and steel glider underneath the tree on my patio first, to a safe distance in the yard. They cleaned off my roof of all debris, and even blew out the gutters for me, which I hadn't yet tackled. I have rarely seen such synchronized efficiency or excellent work. By 11:30 am, all tree limbs brought to ground had been chain-sawed and loaded, along with every bit of debris raked up. The work was properly and professionally done, and Mr. McCann and his crew were all three, helpful as they could be, and polite in every respect. The price was very reasonable, and I would highly recommend them to everyone in need of tree services. They do storm work, dead wood removal, pruning and shaping, and they have the expertise to do it all beautifully.
