John came when he said he would. He is a real artist when it comes to laying out a pattern, or laying out a color sequence for natural stone. He layed out the tile set it , grouted it, then sealed it. I thought it might be done a day earlier than it was, but construction is not always on time. Over all the project went well, and I am well pleased. I hired Batts Tile because John had previously done tile work in our home. The ceramic tile was beautiful, and his workmanship was great.
Description of Work: John Batts replaced the tile in my entry way. He installed stone tile, grouted, and sealed the tile. The entry way looks just beautiful.

An overall great experience. All work done as promised and per specs. John is very patient and easy to have in the house. He quietly just goes about getting the job done. He provided expert advice and insisted on not settling on tile type when we wanted something different. Kept us informed as job progressed so we knew what to expect re: timelines. Takes pride in his work and strived and succeeded in making us satisfied with the job. This was actually the second bathroom remodel he did for us. The first one was several years previous with same results. Am considering kitchen remodel and would definitely ask him to be the contractor.
Description of Work: This was a remodel of an older bathroom that had not been touched, other than a new countertop, wallpaper, and flooring, since 1953. The original tile and bathtub were removed with subsequent repair work done behind the walls to lay the foundation for new plumbing fixtures. Toilet removed, vanity and sink removed, vinyl flooring removed. Walls stripped. Original cabinets were kept as they were in good shape and of good character. John coordinated the remodel with plumbing contractor. John then did tile work surrounding new bathtub, floor and half way up wall. Replaced floor moulding and caulked all appropriate seams around floor and tub tile. Installed shower curtain hardware and toilet paper holder in ceramic tile.
