It has not been a pleasant experience. This person lied to me over and over again.
Description of Work: I had contracted some electrical work to be done on our home, and contacted Action Electrical. He gave me an estimate, and came out and did the work. I have a friend who is an electrician with the telephone company, at my house when the the work was done but was with the telephone company and had to be at the house because the phone box was involved in the work. My friend noticed that the work was substandard, and reported the electrician to the state. Long story short, the person that did the work was not licensed in Wyoming or Montana(base office) the state electrician found 6-8 violations he did and now the work has to be redone. If you get electrical work done, ask to see their license and double check that the person is qualified. Do not use Action Electric, main office is in Billings Montana.

When the temp service was installed, technicians improperly hooked up the ground and overloaded (fried) every electronic appliance in the house: furnace, microwave, clocks, phones, audio. Luckily, they were insured and paid in full -- without argument -- to replace everything damaged and corrected their wiring mistake. Later, I offered A-1 a chance to complete the service upgrade. As is typical for trades in this area, it took a while to get someone to come up to gather data for an estimate. The estimate never materialized and I had another company finish upgrade.
Description of Work: Prior to start of remodeling, I had A-1 run a temporary service to my residence. Later, I asked the company back for a bid to complete a service upgrade from 100 to 200 amp.
