Absolute Construction

Jim has been great to work with. He first trimmed and re-attached a bi-fold door after new wood flooring had been added. The door later broke (not any fault of Jim's) and he promptly returned to fix it. He recently repaired two other doors that had been broken and made one work better than ever. He was quick and efficient and incredibly friendly and trustworthy.

The finished product is better than we hoped. It looks amazing and is exactly as invisioned. He suggested we use materials we already had so we could save money. He was professional and punctual. His time line for finished work was accurate. Genuinly good person with good ideas. We will hire him again if we ever need more work done and have already been giving his name to our friends!

Jim did an amazing job. There was always great communication between him and I. He has great attention to detail and knows what he is doing. He was always on time. We would hire Absolute Construction again and recommend him to others as well.

Jim and his team are phenomenal! Jim always returns our calls right away, and is on time delivering exceptional service. Jim and his team who completed the roofing exceeded expectations. They are professional, and very customer focused. Last year Jim installed an awning for us after waiting for other contractors to return our calls. We called him, and he immediately returned our call, gave us the information we needed, and hired him to complete the project. He truly cares about the work he delivers. His cost for the projects he has completed are reasonably priced and definitely worth it. We will hire him in the future for other projects as well as recommend him to others.

Jim was very professional and easy to work with. He did a great job on our bathroom and I will hire him for future projects.

First off, the ONLY reason I didn't use Jim, is he was booked out several months. Otherwise I would have used him hands down. He came by several times for an estimate, and he was always there at the time specified on the dot, or 5 minutes early. He was very easy to talk to, and openly discussed options for repairs. I never felt like he was trying to get the most money out of me possible. I truly felt bad not using Jim, as all my interactions with him were the best out of all the others. Just given the busy summer, I didn't want to wait until July/August for the repairs. Would call Absolute again in a heartbeat.

Great!! Jim's attention to detail is amazing, and he thinks of everything. He did a beautiful job and I have gone back to him for other work based on this remodel job.

Great! Weather caused timing problems, but Jim stayed on top of everything! He explains everything in advance and responds immediately to questions and concerns. He is great to work with!

Jim gave me a senior discount. He was courteous, kind and compassionate. He went above and beyond. I recommended him to my next door neighbor and he is back out today taking a look at her doors. I am going to have him back to do some work in my basement.

I know they do quality work but for me it was a little bit expensive. I have friends that say they absolutely do fantastic work. They said that it was going to be done right the first time and I believed him.

Jim was probably the most conscientious contractor we've employed and have had many since our home is over 50 years old. He was always very punctual and completed work on schedule. If not, there would be a reason if a material was not available. He would say when he would start in the morning and he would be there. His equipment is top of the line and he cares for it very well which translates into the work he does. Jim is able to solve problems, as are common in older homes) sometimes looking at it and coming up with something that worked even better. His excellent carpentry skills were very much appreciated. He had to work with the plaster walls, some were not plumb and he installed all the cabinets perfectly, all the soft close doors are great, everything is level, and it looks like a showplace kitchen. He hired electrical, painting, and plumbing subcontractors and oversaw their work. He would check the skim coating that the painter did, ended up touching up some of that. When he left, the work was always up to his standards. Also, he has completely built several homes for himself. We are thrilled with the end result and have so many compliments on the work and the new kitchen. Wish I'd found him and done it sooner. I highly recommend Jim Janssen of Absolute Construction for any home remodeling. I will be doing another review of Jim as we had him return this fall to do more work for us.
