Description of Work: I had called the number provided for this roofer, and someone who said he was Beckett's partner showed up. The 'fix' did not last and I did not get a decent receipt. Had Mr. Beckett called me personally to let me know what was happening, I would not be so upset now, and so willing to give a low rating.

Description of Work: First of all, Beckett Construction never contacted me, even though it was them I called. Some guy who claimed to be Beckett Construction's partner called instead. I found this disturbing. I did not contact this person that showed up and Beckett did not tell me he was coming. I think that is totally unprofessional. Second of all, the person who showed up did a crappy job - something I could have done by myself. And his assessments of my issues were not similar to what I had been told before by other roofing professionals. I was desperate for a repair so let the guy do it. I will never use Becket Construction again. Lastly, the guy came to my home while I was on vacation asking to replace the check I gave him with cash because he did not believe in banks. He also did not have an official, business receipt. Absolutely the most unprofessional contractor I ever did business with.

Description of Work: Reroofed a house, including tear off. They did a good job at a reasonable cost. When issues came up that we're unexpected, they consulted me about options before proceeding.

+ -1 moreWent well. They started on Saturday October 5th and finished on October 12th. They did not have the best weather conditions to work in on some of the days. Did a good job of cleaning up the mess made from the old shingles and roof. Roof looks nice and has quality materials on it, it should last a long time.
Description of Work: Tore off and removed existing shingles on roof. Installed sheathing, ice and water shield on eaves, feltex underlayment, drip edge metal, certain teed landmark AR shingles and ridge cap. Installation of TPO on flat portions of roof.

+ -1 moreChad was very professional and knowledgable on his roofing job. A very fine young man who worked very hard. I was very impressed with his work ethics. After he was finished every night it was all ways cleaned up. I heard no foul language while they were doing my roof at all. chad was very easy to work with.The finished job could not have been better.
Description of Work: Chad tore off and re-roofed my house.
