+ -1 moreThey haven't gave us any money from our property we own even though there is a tenant in the home who is paying them rent. I am stressed because I don't get a response from these people and I'm out of state.
Description of Work: We hired this company to rent our house in Bigfork Montana months ago and we still haven't received any rent from them even though they have collected two months rent and over $4250 from the tenants in our house. The contract we have with them states that the proceeds from the rent money will be direct deposited into our bank account on the 10th of every month. Besides the fact it took them almost 3 months to rent our house, it has been occupied for two months now and we haven't received any money! We have called many times and left message after message, many E-mails and even a certified letter, still no response and no rent money. We are worried sick about this because we are two states away and we will have to travel to Montana if we want to get an answer.. We are paying a hefty mortgage payment and there is a tenant paying rent to this company and yet we haven't received any money at all! Please take my advice and don't hire this company because they are totally unaccountable to their clients.

+ 0 moreThe job got done but it was several months late. I had to monitor progress from several hundred miles away and fortunately I insisted on pictures of the work as it went along. I caught several mistakes along the way and brought those to his attention before it was too late. He did not monitor the work the subcontractors did nearly as well as he should have. I also use Ry's company for the basic maintenance functions that his company specializes in. He opens up the cabin in the spring, plows the road, closes it down in the winter. He also checks in on the home and looks for signs of trouble. Ry is really good at this type of business and I would highly recommend him if you have a place in the Flathead Valley that you don't live in full time.
Description of Work: He was a contractor involved in the interior construction of our home.

+ 1 moreValley Maintenance has been checking on our home for six winters and they are consummate professionals! During this last house check they let us know that our home was secure, but our outdoor grill had "gone for a walk" to the end of the gas line tether. Turns out, we surmise, that a bear had pulled the bbque out in an attempt to get at any leftover grease. Serena, from Valley Maintenance replaced the grill to the previous position and put rocks by the wheels to try to prevent further maurading. (Hopefully, by now any bears have hunkered down for their winter hibernation!)
Description of Work: Valley Maintenance checks our home periodically to ensure that there are no problems. Since we are away during the winter months they make sure that our house is securely locked, there is no water leakage or any other problem. They have a thorough checklist that they go through during the house check and also provide us pictures of our home via the internet.
