Excellent, unbelievable workmanship extremely profession and fair.

I take full responsibility for signing the contract to do the work. What my issue with PJ's plumbing is I feel they screwed me over on the cost of labor. I didn't catch that they did not take out the cost to add the insulation since I was going to do this myself. The bid I signed (shame on me for trusting) was for 36 hours labor. The actual labor was around 20 hours. I called Pat, the owner and president and explained to him my disappointment of being over charged for the labor. I tried to reason with him that I was a long time loyal customer. He was the only plumber/H/C that I ever used for my home. I pleaded my case to the bid not being fair and to his ethics knowing he over bid the project by 40%+-. I made him aware that I was going to do the insulation and the hours had been left in the bid. I did my best to reason with Pat. His response to me was that I had signed the contract and that is what he was going by as far as cost to me. I tried again to let him step up to being honest/fair/ethical and he stuck to the fact that he had a signed contract with my name on it and that's what he was sticking with. I feel the only thing that mattered to Pat at this point was I have a signed legal contract. Pat's behavior and the way he treated a long term loyal customer (I know I am a small customer to him) bothers me more than the cost. He knowingly took advantage of me and wouldn't budge or let his own personal ethics and fairness enter into the situation. I also learned that I cannot and should not trust contractors even if I have had a long term relationship with them. Shame on me for not getting other bids. In my heart I knew PJ's and Pat would be fair to me.
