+ -1 moreI have to say from the initial phone call to the completion this business was nothing but professional. John was the man on our job. Talk about flexible, he had to work around the floor install, two different rooms, a sleeping teenager, changing dates and owners who live in another state! Great communication, gave us advice on the ancient toilets we had in the unit, checked the water pressure and was just a truly nice guy. John removed old toilets, installed 2 new toilets and took care of the fridge, dishwasher unhook/hook up in a timely manner and was very neat with his work.
Description of Work: We asked Campbell's to help us with plumbing related to a floor install. Remove/install a toilet, unhook/hook up fridge and dishwasher.

Description of Work: Provider installed our radiant heat system and plumbing. It has overall worked well. Soon after our guest shower was installed we noticed the shower was not the one we ordered. We called back Campbell and showed them the shower and we were told that the manufacturer changed the code and they weren't responsible. I requested some remediation and was told by one of the Cambell brothers that they wouldn't make any money coming back and that they were making more money on all the new construction. our builder intervened and the matter was settled between the builder and Campbell's. This was not what I expected from a $ 30,000 -40,0000 job. i would not use them again. Maybe they have changed since then but I noticed one the high review came from our subdivision. where no house exists, so I decided to write this. Good luck with them!

+ -1 moreOverall, John made the experience as pleasant and painless as possible. We have used Campbell's for other services in the past and the service personnel have all been excellent. For plumbing and heating services, they are the only ones we use.
Description of Work: John performed an air test on the plumbing system in a house we are in the process of purchasing. A previous air test showed a small drop in pressure, so we wanted to attempt to determine the problem. The water is currently turned off and disconnected so an air test was the only method available to us. John arrived on time (a minute or two early actually) and was fully prepared with all necessary tools. He took the time to double check with us regarding exactly what we wanted him to do and what we were looking for and hoping to accomplish with the air test. He made sure we understood the limitations of testing the system without running water and once we were all confident we were all on the same page, he got to work. He was very professional and extremely thorough and conscientious. He managed to find the source of the minor leak, but continued testing the system just to be sure that was the only problem. Once the water is turned back on, he said he could come back out and check the system again and take care of the one small leak.

I called and briefly outlined the details and the person that I spoke with said it was likely a clogged component. They sent a very professional plumber who explained everything and found that it was in fact a component that was clogged. He fixed it promptly after telling how much it would cost. He also made suggestions regarding some unrelated concerns I had.

+ 0 moreHaving just moved into a new house I wanted to get the furnace and water heater checked for winter. I called to schedule both services and they could do them both on the same day with two technicians. They gave me a window of time they would be here and showed up within that window. The job was finished in about an hour. They didn't have the size of my furnace filter in advance, so had to come back with a replacement which took a bit longer than originally told. I was pleasantly surprised that I did not need to have my water heater drained (ever) and that my furnace filter is a 1-year replacement. They also provided paperwork for the rebate offered by the utility company. I will definitely use this business again.

Description of Work: About 3 days after requesting an appointment for someone to assess our hot water heating system "future" a very polite, well spoken man called to ask if he could come up that morning. He surveyed the very unique, gerrymandered wiring and lever system with which we'd been having some recent problems; he discouraged us from replacing the furnace believing it still had "life" in it for some years. But the wiring was surely in need of refining. (The system is set up for 4 zones but only one thermostat was controlling everything). The go-to man for fixing things came out two days later to do a detailed survey of the situation, an e-mail providing estimate was promptly sent, we authorized the work, and within three days the work was completed, most efficiently and effectively and clear explanations given about the wiring and zone valves. Because of the 25+ years age of the zone valves there was some "ghost" heat leakage that we might get. We did feel the "ghosts" and called today to request new zone valves on the two culprits. An appointment was made for a week from tomorrow to replace those valves. We believe we've been treated very politely, promptly, and fairly. The estimate and bill for the first work were a match; we had another estimate given for the rewiring work and their's was $250 higher than Campbells.

Description of Work: They did all of our plumbing, heating, exhaust work and water softener. There are actually two dates they started in Dec. so we could get other work done and then as the house progressed they have been able to complete their work. All of the people we have worked with have been very professional and conscientious to our needs.
