+ 3 moreTom is a honest decent professional who is detail oriented and did not leave until he was sure both my hot water heater & furnace were working; he even changed the bulbs & adjusted the ceiling light for this short senior citizen. He has done work before for me and I have only good things to say about him! Even my beagle dog likes Mr. Tom! I know that should anything go wrong with the repairs (which I doubt) I know I can call Chris & Tom will arrive within a short time. Their prices are very affordable as Dirty Works gives a 15% senior discount, are licensed & bonded and very honest & dependable. I surely will tell my friends & family to call Dirty Works for their electrical needs. Very pleased & satisfied again with their work.
Description of Work: Fixed several electrical issues from a water heater broken line, relay in air handler, adjusted water heater temperature, fixed issues of power outages in several rooms & got my furnace up & running again. This problem was caused by previous shoddy contractor who refused to correct the problem resulting in multiple plumbing issues involving the hot water lines & ultimately resulted in a broken hot water line & water heater

+ -1 moreWent terrible...................I talked to Chris (he answered the phone) on today, Friday, Dec. 11, 2015 at 1:45. I explained to him that my AC was not cooling and asked if someone could come and check it Saturday. He told me that Saturdays were reserved for only refrigeration issues???, and he could not help me. Although I was unable to be home Friday afternoon, he did not even ask if someone could come out on Friday afternoon. He did say, "sorry we can't help and thanks for calling." I wish I had experienced the same level of help in the above reviews..................I cannot recommend them and will never call them in the future.

N. their contact information as she was here at the time and needs an honest, trustworthy and competent electrical, A/C heating for her own home; lol even my dog liked him!
Description of Work: Fixed my power circuit breaker panel box and restored my electricity and therefore my A/C immediately started to work (92° inside).

+ -1 moreI called on Saturday morning and left a voicemail. Within minutes Chris returned my call and told me he would be by the same afternoon to take a look at my A/C. I let him know that it was running all the time and not cooling very well and also was not dripping outside as much as it should. He came by on his way back to Poplarville around 4:15 in the afternoon. He did an evaluation and showed me how bad the Evaporator coils, told me exactly what needed to be done, and gave me the price. He truly earned every penny. He had to take the coils out of a room built around the unit....not an easy task. He cleaned the coils, reinstalled them, refilled the Freon, and checked my drain. My A/C has NEVER worked this good!!!! I would definitely recommend Dirty Works to anyone!!!!

Excellent price for services rendered. Happy the unit could be fixed and more coils were not having to be purchased. He is very educational to show customer where the problems lie in system and how to prevent future issues with the unit. We will call Dirty Works in the future for any air conditioner problems. This is the second time we have called Dirty Works for different air conditioner problems and both times were responded to fast and fixed within hours. We will recommend services to everyone we know! Wish we had more services that were this honest to their customers.

Description of Work: My air conditioner was not cooling. I called they came the same day, found the problem which was a leak in the coils. They added freon until they could order and replace the part. The part came and was replaced. So far so good. The work started April 29. It was completed May16.

+ -1 moreOMG..this guy is just awesome. I called him on Monday. He told me he could get to me first available on Wednesday which wouldn't work for me because I was scheduled for a surgery procedure. He (Chris) immediately said let me see if I can work you in tomorrow... and he did... He actually said "it would be awful for me to come home from a surgery without air conditioner" Chris , the owner and his worker, Rodney worked in rain to get my AC back functional and it took them more 2 hours.. God Bless Them.. They checked the inside unit and apparently it was okay; they told me they were checking for oil spots etc.. then in the rain (after the major down pour subsided) they removed the Schroeder valve and replaced it. They also recharged the freon... Tonight.... Dirty Works is My Hero...

He really takes his time to accurately diagnose the problems and fix them correctly. He definitely goes above and beyond the minimum requirements and has extremely reasonable prices. I high recommend this company and absolutely plan to use their services in the future. I haven't needed to call him in over a year because he fixed our A/C so well last time!

+ -1 moreI called Chris to come look at my unit that went out in the middle of summer Mississippi heat. He responded within 10 minutes of getting the phone call on a Sunday morning. He was done within 20 minutes of working on my unit. He replaced a part that had gone bad. He fixed it and it has worked great ever since! I have recommended him to all of my family and friends for work on their air. I will be calling him in the future to come and do all of my air conditioning work through him. Very knowledgeable and effective, Thank you!

+ -1 moreWell, let me tell you about Chris. Man's gonna make it far. Don't know the guy but wish we had a world full of his kind. He demonstrated confidence in himself and his craft and showed respect. Completely floored me when he refused payment for the call that took well over an hour, even after my repeated insistence. Guess what? His business savy worked - not only am I now posting my first-ever recomendation, but I'm calling him back to install some of the improvements he suggested. What a great consumer world this would be if the whole service industry was like this. Call Chris for your needs - can't imagine that you can do better taking a chance on someone else.
Description of Work: Arrived on a Sat morning within one hour of call. Performed all troubleshooting checks on both the outside and attic units. Arrived with an assistant, both of whom were very profesional. Left workkplace with everything restored to the way it was. Arrived with a service vehicle that carried all necessary tools and instruments needed to complete a service call. After extensive diagnostics using the manufacturers's specifications, explained the nature of my a/c difficulties and made recommendations on corrective practices. Left me with a small part to improve my system's performance. Educated me on different aspects of the system's performance that will help me extend its life. Demonstrated an online control system that will save me money and give me the comfort results I want from remote locations. Made recommendations on how to cool trouble spots within the home. Discussed the benefits of reducing the heat in my attic.

+ -1 moreI found water in my hall way by the a/c unit. I called Dirty Works Services and Chris came out within 2 hours. He knew what was wrong and suggested i get the $99.00 Spring tune-up special. This included breaking down and cleaning the unit. He unclogged the drain, cleaned the coils ( they looked new) and removed the blower fan and scrapped out over a cup of dirt. I live in a mobile home and it is difficult to get the a/c filter to fit correctly especially since one my size is not made. He explained to me how the air flow works and went into depth about ways to work with different types of filters. The a/c is now blowing great and he said it will help on the electric bill to. It was a painless experience and I will use Dirty Works again.
Description of Work: Chris took the a/c apart, showed me what was causing my problems. He unclogged the drain, cleaned coils (they looked new) and removed the blower fan and cleaned it. It had accumulated a load of dirt! He then gave suggestions on ways to keep filter in place on intake door or apply to the coils to assist in the units efficiency.
