It was a service call and everything went fine with them. However, it took them 2 days to get here. Otherwise, it was an excellent service and they fixed the issue. It turned out to be a good quality in a way that we expected it to be.

They were prompt, professional, and courteous. The work turned out well and I would use them again if needed. They also recommended not repairing it, but replacing it since a mouse got in and damaged the wiring. We followed their advice and turned out with a better dishwasher.

I called Northland and they were able to send someone out that same day. The issue was diagnosed and repaired within a few hours.

I called on a Friday and set up an appointment for Monday morning (which was fine, because it wasn't an emergency). Bob arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem, and replaced the dishwasher valve. He made sure that no other leaks were present, and took good care of the newly refinished wood floor. Service was courteous, efficient and professional. I highly recommend this company!

It went very well. Dishwasher wasn't draining and it was fixed with replacement of a small part. I may be out of touch with reality, but thought the charge was quite high ... $13.00 part and a $145.00+ invoice.

They were knowledgeable and up front.

I searched the list and found a higher volume organization, but they were booked out over a week (and were clearly rushed when they answered the phone). This vendor was slightly less volume but they answered the phone very nicely and were egar to find a time to come out (even tried to find a time the same day). The receptionist even asked for the make and model of the washer to "make sure they had the parts on the truck". We arranged for them to come out the next day. They called 30 minutes before they arrived (giving me time to get back from the store). Bob showed up on time and got right to work. He seemed to know the problem before he started (said it was common for the model and city water). After 10 minutes he came up to say he had the part to fix the problem, but I had a belt that would soon fail. Preparing myself for the up-sell, he offered (appologetically) that it was a $20 part and $17 labor to replace. I (with relief) agreed and 15 minutes later he was finished. He brought me the belt to show me how close it was to failure (which was clearly true, looking at the belt). I paid with check and he was gone. End to end it took no more than 30-minutes. What a fantastic experience.

I called on Monday morning and expected to have to wait several days, but told Sandy I would be home on Tuesday and she was able to get someone out that day. Pat was extremely professional, friendly and competent. He realized he had the wrong part for one of the burners and told me it would probably take a day or two to get the right one, but since they knew it was hard for me to take off work they made a special effort to get the burner that day and Pat came back the same afternoon and installed it. Everything works great now and I am extremely impressed!

They did very good work. They replaced what needed to be replaced. They solved the problem. They were easy to work with.

Our dryer had been making noise for some time, but it kept getting worse. We finally called to have it serviced. Northland came out the same day we called, made the repair and did a thorough cleaning. They were great.

When he first diagnosed the problem, we agreed to have it fixed. As he proceeded, he found other things wrong and he recommended that he stop the repairs and that we buy a new washer. He could have continued to do the repairs and make more money; we appreciated his honesty.

Our 5-year-old Amana refrigerator stopped cooling during the weekend. Monday morning, I searched Angie's List for a repair person in the northern Twin Cities suburbs. Northland Appliance Service was selected due to their high ratings. Dave came out the same day, replaced a defrost control, and got the refrigerator cooling again. Since that time I recommended them to my mother because her refrigerator door wouldn't stay shut. Dave performed fast and efficient service for her too by replacing the seals.

He was not only on time, but early - came out first thing in the morning. His diagnosis was swift and accurate - it wasn't what I was hoping for (fridge must be replaced), but at least he was honest. He even gave me some ideas for buying a new fridge at a discount price. I paid only the diagnostic fee.

They are fairly expensive but are very good, and my experience with them has been good.

I was amazed that they were able to come out the same day to fix the oven. It was actually working again within a few hours of my call. The repairman was very personable and competent. The same repairman returned to install the new part for the burner problem. That repair took a bit longer than expected due to the aging parts involved. Overall, I was very pleased with the company and the work and plan to call them if any of my other major appliances break down.

I called them upon a glowing recommendation from our local appliance store and following positive Angie's list reviews. The phone staff was courteous and I was placed on the schedule immediately . Bob arrived within the time anticipated and was courteous and personable. It was like having a kind uncle in the house. He even wiped the grit from the freezer as he went along and gave me the opportunity to unearth the gooey ice-cream before replacing panels. I was very heartened by the notion that he went the extra mile to install a simple device that would prevent future build-up. It gave me the sense that he had my best interests at heart. He even took a moment to address an unrelated washer question that I had.

I called this company on a Monday morning (President's Day). I talked to Dave and told him what I needed repaired. He called me back within an hour with a price quote, and said he could be at my house the next morning at 7:30 a.m. He was here on time, he fixed the problems, and also re-attached the dishwasher to the countertop for me! (It was no longer attached so he asked me if I wanted it re-attached.)

I didn't have time to shop around, so I don't know how the price compared but I wish I didn't have to pay that much. The work was done in time so my food didn't spoil, for which I am grateful.

Bob was quick in his assessment of the problem and had the replacement parts ready to install. He was thorough in his work as well as his clean-up. He came out on one of the worst days of the winter and I commend him for that.

They came the next day to fix which was excellent. I did not ask and she did not talk about the cost. We did not need a part just needed a tube cleaned out, it did take an hour to figure this out. The price seemed a bit steep, but besides that I am happy.

He just seemed really honest. He came in for the gas leak, and then I sprung the other work on him, and he said he'd do what he can. He gave me an estimate before he started working, and I was happy with the cost. There was one piece that had to be vented out of the wall, and he didn't have the equipment to do it, but he was able to explain how to do it to my husband so we could take care of it. I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of in any way.

I had left a message over the weekend and they returned my call promptly Monday morning. They were able to schedule someone to come out the next morning. The tech had my washer fixed within an hour. Northland was terrific. I'd definitely use them again.

I called Northland Appliance Service on Friday afternoon to check same day availability. Dave checked scheduling and called back to tell me they could make it out first thing Saturday morning. He called at 7:30am to tell me he'd be here by 8:00. He opened and evaluated the dryer, estimating the repair cost at $135. He had the necessary belt in his van. Dave disassembled the dryer and replaced the broken belt. He pointed out issues with older style venting and gas line which are no-longer code compliant. Dave was patient and answered my questions. He provided outstanding service. I unconditionally recommend Northland Appliance Service.

It was a pleasant experience and Northland handled the warranty for replacing the heating element to the microwave. Everyone I talked to at Northland via phone or in person was great to work with. I would definitely call them again.

They were very good. The service man was reliable and did excellent work. I would definitely use them again.
