Houseworks

The seemed to do fair work even though it was quite expensive. I thought this was ok because they were bonded and recommended by so many. But after they were gone the roof started leaking. I almost never got them back and when I did they seem to only want to sign me up for another repair job and when it was obvious I was not wanting to pay them more they slipped out with out even finishing the evaluation and letting me know what they were going to do to fix their previous repair. I have since hired someone else to come back and fix their mess. I will never use them again

I called Houseworks in West Point, MS the week of June 11th and made an appointment for June 18th. On June 15th I received a call requesting to reschedule our appointment as he was double booked. I agreed to reschedule for June 21st at 2:00. I hired a sitter to take my small children out so that I could speak with the contractors and waited. At 2:30, 30 minutes past our scheduled appointment time, I called and they said they were just leaving another job in Starkville (about 45 minutes from my house) and would be there in 30 minutes. An hour later at 3:30 they still had not arrived so I called again and was told they were close by. They arrived 1 hour and 45 minutes late, 15 minutes before the sitter was scheduled to bring my children home. Once they arrived the men were pleasant and seemed interested in the projects. We discussed the remodeling project for an hour and I was told that an estimate would be emailed to me in a week. Two weeks went by and no estimate so I called. The man I spoke with told me that he would check on the estimate. Two more weeks passed and I sent an email. As I am writing this it has been 5 weeks since our meeting and I have not received a follow up call, email or estimate. I spent the whole afternoon on the 21st waiting for and meeting with Houseworks as well as paid a sitter $60 and have made no progress towards getting the additions to my home completed.
