I had a new home contstructed by this builder in Desoto County in 2011. There were only mild problems during the construction of my home which I shrugged off as normal at the time, boy do I wish I had not! With closing you are provided a one year builders warranty as well as a 2-10 warranty. I had no emergent problems during my first year so I submitted my repair list around 11 months as instructed. I went several months without hearing any response. Finally the supervisor for my subdivision called and said he had just found my request and that it had been lost on his desk. He also stated that they dont perform the repairs but that each individual subcontractor would contact me. This would mean 3 different appointments at 3 different times, but I have a flexible work schedule so I said that was fine. He also informed me to call him when sheetrock repairs had been made and he would send his painters out. I stated to him that I did not want the same painters as before because I felt the painting they had done was not very good and I could do better myself. His only reply was "Good thats one less thing for me to do" no response of trying to make it right or at least offering to provide me with the paint, nothing!! As I was told the three subcontractors I would be needing called to set up appointment times. The first two (which were minor repairs came and went without incidence. The third was the sheetrocker who was supposed to repair a small settlement crack and several nail pops. This subcontractor never showed, never called to apologive and never called to reschedule. All calls to them went unanswered. After 1 week I attempted to call the builder and again all calls/ voicemails went unaswered. I finally gave up and made the repairs myself as they were minor. Now this past winter I noticed a large crack in the mortar of my brick. I have had a contractor and a foundaion company to look at it and both felt there were foundation problems on that side of the home. I addition I began to notice other things with the home: another small crack in a bedroom wall, doors that don't shut properly, widening cracks in the garage floor, as well as areas or seperation on moldings and trim. Clearly outside of my builders warranty, I submitted a structural defect claim with 2-10 Homebuyers Warranty as provided by the builder. After all of this dragging out for the past 60+days I have been told by the warranty company that it will not be covered because there is no "catastrophic damage". So here I am with a 2 1/2 year old house in need of foundation repair estimated at greater than $10,000! Everyone who has evaluated agrees the probable cause is the home being built so rapidly and not allowing the soil to settle at all. Just for reference I signed a contract on an empty lot the second week of May and the builder was ready to close in mid July. My advise to everyone would be find a reputable contractor not a huge company that is churning out a mass number of houses as quickly as possible.

It went wonderful! They were very punctual in building it. Worked with us to get all the upgrades we wanted for a fair price. Fixed everything we requested in our final walk thru.
