He was very professional, punctual, and problem solving oriented. The job was complete in a couple of hours and was well done. I will definitely call him again and would recommend highly.

He's great. The security light was right beside our bedroom window and it always went on and off. I was thinking of either cutting it off or make it a switch, then he suggests about a remote, you can turn it on if you need it and also the lights inside the house. It sounds nice and so that's what he did. I would call him back in an instant if I need him again. His price was a little higher but I think it's worth it.

See above. He was ready to go to work when he got here and had already called to determine what he might need to do the jobs so he could pick them up before he got here.

I needed multiple smaller jobs done: a plug replaced and moved for my dishwasher, lights added to my ceiling fan, and lighting fixture replaced. There were minor complications in getting the plug correctly aligned (the new dishwasher had a different build) and David came back quickly and made the adjustments. Similarly, it took extra work to get lights to match my apparently now unfashionable fan colors but he found them in the right shade. He did great work and it was affordable too.

Mr. Mayfield called to tell me that he was leaving his home and would be there about 8:30am. He was on time. He was dressed neatly and wore a shirt with his company logo on it. He introduced himself before he entered our home. He told me a little about himself and his company before beginning his work. He complimented our home and the furnishings. We went over the work that I wanted him to do. I showed him the light fixtures, and we talked about why I wanted the old ones replaced. He told me that he felt I was making good decisions in my choices and why. He explained some things to me as he worked. He was pleasant, cheerful, and answered every question I asked. He was very professional but showed an interest in my comments on the house, the area, etc. When he finished, he turned on all of the lights to make sure they were working as they should. He took all boxes outside and asked if I needed him to take them or leave them. He thanked me for using his company, and told me he would be glad to come back when I need his services again. I am, greatly, pleased to have found such a good electrician through Angie's list...my first use of her services. I, highly, recommend Mayfield Electrical Service!

.I called David five days ahead of time to schedule installation of power outlets for my outside security cameras and he promised to be at my house at 8:00 on Monday morning. He was late - he got there at 8:02! Seriously, David was on time, walked the house with me and explored options, then he promptly went to work. David hit a snag in the attic and told me about it and that he could finish one of the two outlets within the time he had allotted but that he had another service call. He promised that he would return after that call to complete the second outlet at my house. I appreciated the fact that he was concerned about keeping his commitments to ALL of his customers. He gave me a time when he would return and this time, he was on the dot. Once he finished the work, he cleaned up, helped me install the cameras and aim them (which was not part of the original deal) and handed me a bill which was more than reasonable for what he had done. David gets FIVE STARS across the board for professionalism, punctuality, quality of work, value of services rendered, and for being an overall friendly guy.

David was very professional and courteous. He called us when he was on his way. We didn't know if it was the balance or not. We had it replaced in January of this year by Jim Cowan Electric. David informed up that a cheap generic brand balance, with a very short life span, was used to replace the one that lastest for over five years. He replaced the balance with a more durable one. It took him about 15 minutes to diagnose the problem and complete the work. We were charge for the service call and the balance replacement (plus tax). My fiancee and I were on vacation that day and we were able to sit and chat with David for awhile. He was very pleasant and engaging. We were quite pleased and happy with his level of service. Mr Mayfield arrived on time and was very nice and polite. The exhaust fans were old and needed to be replaced. Normally when you have to call anyone for a service call, it consist of two trips, which sometimes equals 2 charges. Mr. Mayfield had the fans with him so everything was taken care in a timely manner. We certainly call him the next time we need electrical help.

Very rapid response time for a minor job. He arrived at my house within 15 minutes to scope the job. He left to obtain what he needed for the job, and returned quickly and completed the job. He then did another small job that required him to use a ladder up a power pole without charge.

Arrived on time. Had what he needed to do the job. Was patient with me. Was careful and competent despite distractions. Provided useful information. Prepared bill and I paid promptly.

I had learned about Mayfield Electric from a friend at church some time ago, but this was my first time to need an electrician's services since then. David Mayfield was extremely easy to deal with, from setting up the time for the original estimate to scheduling his return to install the den lights. His work had to be coordinated with another contractor since the ceiling had to be torn out before the lights could be put in. The work was done efficiently and promptly. David is courteous, professional, and personable, and I highly recommend him. This little incident will demonstrate something about his character: when we went to look in the attic to determine how certain wires would be run for the BR job, we passed through a bedroom with a noisy fan. I asked if there was anything that could be done about the noise. He reached up and tightened a globe on the fan, and voila! no more noise. He could just as easily have told me the fan had to be taken down so he would work on it in order to fix the problem. I certainly wouldn't have known the difference. Anyway, if you need a good electrician at a fair price, you can't do better than David Mayfield.

He is very neat and clean, and he is willing to listen to my opinion. He didn?t talk down to me because I?m a woman and he treated me with respect. He is an honest, diligent, and Christian man. We realized that our problem could be solved by flipping a switch so I don?t think he was going to ask me to pay, but I felt like he had spent so much time here and had driven so far that he deserved something. This is the kind of person that you?d want in your own family.
