Description of Work: Worked on garage lights. Explained the reason another breaker could only be installed.

Description of Work: One half of my house was imtermintently losing power. My regular electrictrican couldn't solve it. The power company said it wasn't due to their equipment. I got Mayfield from Angie's List. Mayfield was the third A rated electrician. The top two had so much work from Angie's List they couldn't see me for two days Mayfield said they could come over that day. They showed up in one hour. Identified a faulty breaker on my outside main panel , had the necessary replacement breaker on their truck, installed it and solved the problem. Total work time 15 minutes. GREAT JOB!

Description of Work: Mr. Mayfield replaced an electrical panel on the outside of my house to which my hot water tank was attached. During the coldest week of the year, I was without hot water. At first I thought the tank was the problem, but my plumber indicated it was the panel that needed replacing. | |Mr. Mayfield was great to work with, showed up on-time and completed the work in a timely fashion. I will using his services again if the need arises and recommend his work to anyone in the area who needs electrical service.

Description of Work: He was very polite on the phone, showed up at the time scheduled, completed the work and cleaned up mess made from cutting into sheetrock. Price was reasonable. I will use him again.

Description of Work: replaced a ballast in florescent light however, I did ask for some additional service in the future, but have not received a response as of yet.

Description of Work: He change light fixtures and outlets. Was here for 4.5 hrs. Did a great job!! Arrive 15 minutes early and returned our phone very quickly.

Description of Work: They never called me back. After the secretary didn't call me back the first time, I called them to ensure they had written my number correctly. She said she would check with an electrician to schedule an appointment and would call me back that day,....no one ever called me back.

Description of Work: I called Mr. Mayfield on Monday, February 25, to advise him about what electrical problems I had. At that time, he told me he could probably work me in on the following Wednesday. He stated he would call me back to let me know what time. I called him twice on Tuesday to confirm that he would be available to do the job, On both calls I received voice mail that stated the mailbox was full and that it could not receive messages. This was a little disconcerting, but Mr. Mayfield did call me back on his own volition that evening and left a message that he would arrive by 8:00 on Wednesday morning. He was very punctual. He fixed the kitchen plug that, when it went out, incapacitated an entire wall of my kitchen. He also advised me how to fix a flourescent light over my sink (the on/off switch needed a new battery), which I easily replaced myself. Had it not been for Mr. Mayfield, I never would have figured out that an on/off switch even had a battery in it! He attempted to repair an outlet in my dining room, but my house is over 80 years old, and previous owners had "walled" the attic which now bars access to the wiring. But that certainly wasn't his fault. I was very pleased with his services.

Description of Work: Mr. Mayfield secured an antique fixture that was hanging dangerously from the ceiling. Replaced a light switch box and dimmer.He efficiently completed all work.Very reasonable.I would certainly use him again

Description of Work: Replaced all light fixtures in house and 1 outdoor light fixture, 7 total including 3 ceiling fans. Job completed in two days. Also 1 bathroom fan

Description of Work: David installed a digital timer and 2 exterior outlets for my Christmas lights. One outlet with the timer is right next to the outside meter base. the other outlet is located on the complete opposite end of the house. Cant wait to decorate!
