Kory Melton called me in late October 2023 after learning from Angi that I was looking for a handyman to paint my newly built storage building. He came to my house the next day to look at my project and we agreed on a price of $400.00. Kory came back out in early November. 2023 and painted the exterior of my storage building but did not paint the door because he needed to fix it with some plywood he said he had at home. He worked that day about 4 hours then we sat on my front steps and talked about his family and his upcoming hunting trip. He said he would be gone for a couple of weeks and when he got back, he would bring the materials and fix the door and paint it. It was at that point that I paid him the $400.00 in cash, our agreed amount, and he told me that the payment included his fixing and finishing the job. I waited a month and I did not hear from him so I called and sent him several texts to find out when he was coming to finish my job. I have the last text dated January 2024 in which he said he would come back or send his helper when he got the chance.. To date, he has not been back and my job has NOT been completed! I have been very patient but now I want him to do what he agreed to d

As everybody knows there are two sides to every story… $400 was not our quote. I quoted the job for $850 not including material. She then explained she could not afford that and has not been able to find anybody to do the job because of the price. Out of the goodness of my heart I agreed to her $400 price and offered to paint the shed and get it over with… as she stated we sat down AFTER i completed what I was paid to do and discussed the door repair. She wanted me to supply the material and pay for my mens labor out of my pocket. We have done hundreds and hundreds of jobs without any complaints what so ever. I respectfully say this, we are running a business not a charity. This complaint/review comes after I gave her more than a 50% discount on the painting job because she was on “a fixed income and couldn’t afford the quote”. Anybody that works with people now days knows there is always someone out there who wants something for nothing. We do quality work and hope this review doesn’t affect future customers as we strive to give our customers the best experience possible. We thank everybody that has backed us during this time and understands the situation! Thank y’all!
