It was fantastic! Mr. Rye did exactly what he said he would do. Our lawns have not looked this good in years. The price was very reasonable considering the quality of work performed.

It went well except my spouse was disappointed that two recently planted shrubs were sheared off, and the grass was cut too short. We assume some responsibility here for not taking the initiative to aggressively point out the shrubs (which were not well marked) and for not making clear our wishes with regard to grass height. Honestly, we thought there would be a pre-work conference before the first cutting to make sure e were all on on the same age Fortunately, we seem to clearly understand one another now and plan to continue our working relationship. We thought the base price for gass cutting was quite reasonable.

Great service and affordable

After receiving a recommendation for Matthew Rye, we called him to come over for a consultation. I learned through others that he was a great as a lawn professional and also as a person. I immediately felt comfortable about hiring him after meeting him, and I have been very pleased! We are usually home when he and his helper come, and they are both very kind to the kids (even when they start to "help") and patient with our energetic dogs. They go above and beyond what I even expect them to do each time. It is the BEST money we have ever spent. I highly recommend using Matthew Rye for your lawn maintenance needs!!
