+ -1 moreCalled location, they instantly put me on hold, came back and asked what they could help with, I told the lady I was looking for commercial glass felt. She attempted to put me on hold, but hung up on me. I called back and asked again, got put on hold as soon as she answered, when she came back i stated she hung up o me and she began to argue with me, she then transfered me to Jason's voice mail, I left a message and never got a reply from him either. It became quite apparent to me that they didn't need my business! I will never shop here again.

+ -1 moreThe Venable Glass Representative (Charlie Phillips) showed up when he said he would, was knowledgabe, reinstalled the glass shower in a professional manor and my wife and I were happy people for the first time in 2 weeks. We had been waiting on another glass installer who had been referred and setup by the Tileman for 2 weeks who would not return our calls and was not here when he said he would be here. I am very appreciate and thankful to Venable Glass and Charlie Phillips.
Description of Work: Reinstalled a 3 sided Shower Glass in Master Bath after Glass was removed for Shower tile repair and replacement.

Description of Work: I have had full windshields replaced there on several occasions and they work well with my insurance carrier-all I would pay was my deductible. My most recent visit was to have a rock chip repaired in my windshield, they made this repair and I have not had any problems.

+ -1 moreI have used Venable Glass twice in the last two years or so to replace windshield on my car. I have been pleased. They quickly ordered and got my windshield. Took about thirty minutes to replace it. We are vexed by constant road construction and gravel trucks, so I fully expect to have to use them again. Their price was less than another company, so again pleased.

Description of Work: I recently noticed a ding in the windshield of my new Honda Accord Crosstour and contacted my insurance company (State Farm) about my coverage ($500 deductible). As I didn't want to replace the windshield I asked for recommendations and was told that Venable Glass did most of their claim work. I went to Venable for an estimate, and, after inspecting the windshield, the technician described his recommendation and gave me an estimate of $40.66. As it was about 4:30pm I asked about making an appointment to come back and was told they could do it immediately if I wasn't pressed for time. I agreed, and during the wait spoke with the staff about cost for a windshield replacement, just to get an idea of how they operated. In this exchange I found out Venable did all the windshield work for the dealer who sold me the car (Patty Peck Honda) and if I wanted a new windshield they would: a) order and install an affordable aftermarket replacement; b) order and install a genuine Honda windshield; c) install a Honda windshield I provided for $100. The repair took 10 minutes, slightly improved the appearance of the ding and (more importantly) guaranteed it wouldn't grow into a dangerous and unsightly crack. The staff was friendly and courteous and I even bought a can of their own brand of windshield cleaner ($2.94). Venable Glass is a locally owned and operated family business that has been in the Jackson area for many years and is well-known for their experience, quality and professional service. Based on this visit, I know where I'm headed if I need to get a new windshield, and would recommend them to anyone considering windshield repair shops in the Jackson-Ridgeland-Madison area.

+ -1 moreEverything went very well except that I was told it would take 60-90 minutes to complete. Actual time required was 6 hours. Discrepancy was caused by clerk not knowing my type of truck required significant interior materials removal/replacement not required on most vehicles. Timeline was corrected when I called to inquire if ready. Explanation (by a different clerk) was understandable and she was most apologetic about my receiving initial incorrect information. This was not a problem for me as I was not pressed for time.Work appears very good and no glass shards from previous window were found anywhere. I was given instruction for taking care of window for first 24 hours both verbally and on invoice.Price was excellent and less than I expected.Overall, I was very pleased with their work/price and would recommend them to my friends.
