Good. Very prompt and professional.

Like many houses in Mississippi, our house is built on heavy clay content. Although we had the problem 'repaired' once before (by another company), it had returned to the point we could ignore the problem no longer. We had a seriously bad experience with another foundation company a number of years ago (pre-Angie's List). We did substantially more homework this time around, and settled on Structural Solutions. Only time will truly tell, but we firmly believe we made the right choice this time. Structural Solutions gave us an estimate of $29000 for 39 pilings, eight of which were interior. The price including a 7% senior citizen's discount, and a lifetime, transferable warranty for the work. Since we'd had a bad experience with foundation companies before, a meaningful lifetime warranty was something we were looking for. And, Structural Solutions has been in business long enough for such a warranty to actually mean something. The work crew arrived on time, and completed the work in less than a week. The amount of material they brought with them was phenomenal--roughly two truckloads of the piling cylinders. The foreman and the crew were *very* professional: * Always referred to us as "Mr", "Mrs", "Yes, sir", "No, sir". You usually don't find such courtesy nowadays. * Kept us informed of the progress * Carefully removed and replaced our landscaping * Put down a considerable amount of plastic sheeting to protect carpet and even the walls * Were very very careful in their inside work not to damage anything * Kept the interior AND exterior work areas clean as they went * Carted away the excess dirt (they are blazingly quick, considering all the dirt that was moved for this job) After the foundation work was finished, they took care of many little details we thought we'd have to call other people to do: * Re-mortared brick that had the classic 'stairstep' pattern (the matched the mortar color perfectly, and you cannot tell there was ever a problem!) * Re-caulked around the windows (the windows had pulled away from the brick, but with the foundation repair were now back in place, but the caulk was still damaged). * Repaired some columns on the front of our house that had been damaged Work they didn't do was repairing interior drywall tears. This wasn't a problem, because we expected to have this done separately, after the house has had some time to settle, and there will be painting involved also. We also had to call a plumber to deal with all the issues caused by the foundation damage--this was also expected. We most certainly would call Structural Solutions if we ever had to do this on another house.

Arrived early after calling, went right to work after going over job and completed all in one day, I expected two days.

Structural Solutions did a great job starting with the initial assessment by Tristan Whitehead to the work led by Foreman Walt Wilson. The initial assessment information collected by Tristan was transferred very well to Walt's crew, so when the crew arrived to do the job they knew exactly what to do. This is very important when working on a foundation! Walt's crew was on time. Walt explained how his crew was going to raise the foundation so it would return to the original level, and told me some of the problems they could encounter when they started digging. Walt's crew completed the job in 6 hours and left the work area clean. At the end of the job Walt told me the change in the measurement. Walt then showed me the results of the job. I could see how the space in the bricks closed up which was my main concern. Walt is very good with customers and took the time to answer all the questions I asked him concerning the job. This was the first time I had foundation work performed on my house. I found the company to be very professional. At the end of the job I was given a survey to fill out which I did. Any company that requests a survey after a job is completed gives an indication they are interested in continual improvement in serving their customer base. I would hire Structural Solutions again.

Crew arrived on time, worked no stop and completed work in one day as promised. Foreman and entire crew were pleasant and focused.

The foreman and his crew arrived on time, explained what he was going to do, did the job on time and when finished, you could not see where the yard had been dug. They did an excellent job.

We received prompt, efficient, and courteous service. Workers arrived on time and stayed on tsknwith reasonable breaks for lunch, phone calls, etc. The area was left clean and restored to its original look.

Walt Wilson and crew arrived on time and were very professional and efficient in correcting the problems. The price was reasonable and work accomplished in a timely manner.

It's doing great so far. They were very dependable and took care of it in the time frame they said they would. I was very pleased with them.

The crew worked hard in the 98 degree heat, showed up on time and worked all day. When they started jacking up the foundation, they worked in a synchronized way as to make sure no other damage occurred in the home.

Came and inspected house. Honesty and integrity as they stated that foundation work would not solve the problem and that based upon prior enginerring reports no significant change had occured. If I needed work done, I would trust these people.

The first crew who came out in September 2011 did a nice job & cleaned up after themselves. However, the house shifted again after the work was done. They came back out in July 2012 & made adjustments. It is now July 2013, & they have just finished adjusing the pilings again. Each time, they have to remove deck boards to get to the pilings. Now I am sanding the deck & hoping the foundation will hold this time.

The integrity of the work was done well. It was difficult to get them to come back to correct the landscaping that was disrupted.
