Madison Planting & Design Group

Despite the fancy name, Madison Planting & Design Group does the worst job you can possibly imagine. They hire the dumbest people they can possible find to wreck your yard and then charge you for it! They used herbicide EVERYWHERE I am trying to grow grass and reclaim some yard. They are also EDGING in the WRONG places! See the photos I've uploaded to accompany this review. All of this even after I talked to one of their workers about it! Apparently, their workers are brain-dead--can't think, don't listen, don't pay attention to the work they are doing. Unbelievable! Do you yourself a favor and STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Easy job, but since I did know what was wrong, it was perfect to have a job be easy for the professional. Since it was quick, he was so nice and offered to check all sprinkler heads. Job well done.

My yard looked better before I hired them. Our yard had a 30 year monkey grass border all along the front (It was the best part of our yard!) We contracted to have the beds cleared of weeds and pine straw put down. I had originally wanted the black plastic/mesh put underneath to ensure weeds wouldn't grow through but was told with the amount of pinestraw going down and the weed killer I was charged for it wasn't needed. It took weeks from the me accepting the estimate til anyone started the work. i woke up one day and there was a truck advertising a different landscaping company in my front yard. The guys were nice enough. I left for a couple hours and when I came back home I was horrified. The guys had ripped out our monkey grass border along with the weeds. I immediately contacted the sales rep and he said they'd take care of it. Eventually the crew came back and planted really sad little starts of monkey grass and said it should fill out. Long story short the weeds in every garden bed came back full force within a week. There wasn't enough Round Up in the world to keep them at bay. You can't even see the pinestraw anymore and the starts of monkey grass that were planted have either not grown or just outright died. The weeds that I paid to have removed (which had been previously hidden by the ornamental monkey grass have over taken everything. The only reason I gave D for overall is because the sales rep was wonderful when he came out to do the bed. I really liked him and I think he did want us to be happy. He even came out on his own one weekend to correct an edging misunderstanding. That's dedication. But for $1000 to have my yard look worse than when we started....major failure.

I went great!

They come a couple times a month. They trim trees and shrubs. They treat and kill weeds. They replace mulch a few times a year.Their quality, responsiveness, professionalism and punctuality is excellent.
