It turned out there was not a separation, but only a belly in the line and the guys showed me the camera as they ran it through the entire house. They triple checked their work and were very honest through the entire process. In the end, they showed me there was no real problem and advised that there was not a need at this time to have any work done. How many companies would be willing to take a 3000 pay cut to be honest?
Description of Work: Another plumbing company came out to unclog the sewer line and advised me that I had a separation in the line, under the slab. Drain Go was the contractor my home warranty company used to come and inspect the line. They spent multiple hours and ran multiple cameras to be sure there was an actual break/separation under the slab.

It went well. They did a meter check to confirm whether or not there was a leak in the system, climbed onto roof and checked seals on vent and seeing it was dry and cracked they sealed the vent to prevent future leaks.

It turned out very badly. They are a big rip off and not reliable. They were also rude and unprofessional.
Description of Work: They came here to look at my instant hot water heater underneath the sink. The warranty company was looking to replace it, Drain Go told them it was our fault because we had shut the water supply off. They came back and told me how much it would cost to replace it. I had a different plumber come out who explained what was actually happening and the home warrant company replaced it after speaking to the other plumber.

I have had to deal with the company through my home warranty company. I specifically ask to not get them. I am not impressed with them. They seem to not want to fix anything when they are assigned by the home warranty company. They always say it is not covered in the home warranty and then give me other pricing.
Description of Work: One time they said that there was a toy in the toilet that was blocking the toilet. They wanted to charge us $200 to get the toy out vs. $60 for the service call. It turned out there was not a toy in the toilet it was just backed up.

They were sent out by my home warranty company. They guy almost broke my toilet trying to go in & snake the drain. I asked if there was anything I could do to help the process - He said no. He took the commode off the floor, & started snaking. He worked on it for two hours. He left, came back & tried again. He said that he didn't think he could get it but would keep trying. He kept getting calls throughout the job - I heard him saying to the person on the line that he was still working & asking when he needed to be somewhere. He kept trying for another hour, & got another phone call - apparently cancelling the plans he'd been making - because he said he might be able to get the drain cleared after all. I came to realize that the job not being able to be done was not the problem, but that his personal schedule was going to determine if he'd be able to fix it! He said that because his plans fell through - and because I'd been nice & given him water when he asked for it - he'd stick around and make sure it was fixed. Along with this, one of the other guys that came out tried to steal on of my watches. I was also charged, above the home warranty service fee, for things that I could've done myself - like removing & resetting the toilet - when I'd asked if there was anything I could do & was not told there'd be extra charges up front. All in all, not a great experience.

Draingo was referred to us by First American Home Warranty. We have just moved into our house within the past 3 weeks, and noticed 3 significant problems, a sink leak, loose toilet, and after purchasing a new refridgerator, found that there was a problem with the water/ice hook up. The technician made a quick round through the house, and wrote a 'report' on a receipt book stating that the one problem was an uneven floor that needed to be corrected, not the toilet itself, that the refridgerator was 'not due to normal wear and tear' and that the sink leak was 'a pre-existing condition'. Well, any lay person knows that those key phrases will automatically cancel any type of warranty coverage. He called in his report to the warranty company, and sure enough, DENIED. He then proceeded to give me a second note with the cost estimates that his company could do for us, immediately. The estimates came to the tune of $550.00. That process alone raised my suspicions and I immediately called the Home Warranty company. After many phone calls, document sending, and complaining--they send out a second plumbing company---and low and behold, all repairs have been done and within 2 hours.
Description of Work: We called our home warranty company to address 3 plumbing issues, a loose toilet, water/ice hook-up, and a leaking kitchen sink. The Draingo representative arrived during the appropriate window period and did a cursory inspection.

After digging up the broken pipe, Daniel showed me the problem and provided me a detailed explanation on the best way to repair it. The dirt was replaced, shrubs replaced and so neatly done, you could not tell there had been a problem there.
Description of Work: I was completely satisfied with the service I received from Drain Go Plumbing. I responded to the ad in the yellow pages hoping that I would not be disappointed as I have been in the past with plumbers. We had a water pipe that broke during the night and I called the number at 6am thinking I would get a recording and at least get my name on the list to be called at some point. I could not believe it when a very nice young lady answered the phone. She took my information and told me that someone would be at my house around 9am to look at the situation. Sure enough, at 9am he called and said he was on the way to my house. Daniel was very professional, courteous and diagnosed my problem right away. He then gave me an estimate on the repair work. He even worked me in that afternoon so I would not be without water for another day. This company is the very best plumbing company I have ever dealt with and not only will I never use anyone else, I will highly recommend them to everyone I know. If you need a plumber in the Jackson MS area, you need Drain Go.

I will NEVER USE a company called "Drain Go" again nor will I ever recommend them to anyone. AHS sent Drain Go to our house to unclog a bathroom sink. Upon arrival the two young technicians did not introduce themselves. So, right from the start they were not very impressive or professional. Since we had already taken the S pipe off, they had immediate access to the clog. They proceeded to try using a rusted 100 ft snake to unclog it. (I thought it strange that they would rehook the S pipe to try to unclog it when they had a direct access to the pipe in the wall). The snake they used kept getting stuck and the motor kept jamming and they struggled with this snake for over 20 minutes. In the meantime they would run water to see if it was really clogged and then try again with the snake which made the water brown from the rusted metal. Needless to say they made quite a mess both above and below the sink. Which they did not clean up. When they were not successful with this approach they said that they would have to go on the roof and try to go down the air vent. But, since this procedure was not covered under the American Home Shield warranty they could do it for $485. Even then it was not a guarantee that this would solve the problem. I called my husband to inform him of what needed to be done. He said go ahead since we needed to get this sink working. While on the phone with him I shared my feelings that these people did not seem to know what they were doing and I did not feel comfortable with them. In the meantime they had now been here over an hour and a storm was on its way. They said that they needed to hurry if they were going to get on the roof and perform this next attempt at unclogging pipe. They proceeded to their truck and switched out the old rusted 100 ft auger/snake for a 75 ft one that looked brand new. I asked why use the 75 ft one when they were going to be needing more length to go on top of the house. That did not seem logical & they did not reply. But thank God for DIVINE intervention. Just at they were putting their ladder on the side of the house, a torrential downpour occurred along with lightening. They said they would have to come back tomorrow but not before they would need to collect the $60 for the service charge. I asked, "Could I pay tomorrow when they came back to complete the job." "NO!" They had to be paid now. I reluctantly wrote them a check and they said they would have someone contact us later for a time tomorrow. After they left my husband called to say that there was a website to check reviews for work performed by contractors. Thank you Angie's List!!!! My earlier concerns were validated when I read the reviews that were listed on this company. I called my husband to suggest that we get a second opinion from AHS about this matter. He agreed. The next day, Paul from J & S Service came out...... HE took care of the problem in less then 20 minutes and....w/o having to go on the roof. He was very professional and pleasant and since this was a 2nd opinion we did not have to write another check. I WOULD recommend Paul from J & S anytime. We are thankful for our American Home Shield service and appreciate that we were able to get a 2nd opinion that did get the work done properly AND save us an unnecessary expense. Kudos to Angie's List for the GREAT SERVICE you provide!! Keep up the GOOD WORK! Sincerely a grateful homeowner!

Our 20 year old hot water heater was leaking. They replaced the pop up relief valve. When the pan over flowed a week later. They recommended a expansion tank. I didn't think I needed to pay for a whole new tank. I told them I would ask them for a second opinion. They were neat, on time, and very pleasant. They replaced the flapper in the toilet, but didn't do the chain correctly.

The inner tank of my water heater went out. I placed a call through First American Home Warranty and they sent someone from DrainGo out on Sunday to look at it. He determined the problem and informed me that work would have to be done to bring the plumbing up to code before they could replace the water heater. He gave me an estimate and I agreed to the work since the home warranty covered the actual water heater replacement and they would have to do that part of the job. Someone came out the next afternoon (Monday) and began work. The work was completed in approximately two and a half hours. We had already vacuumed up the majority of the water from the carpet in the adjacent room before they started. During the process, they attached a drain hose to the water heater and went outside to do something else. We went into the kitchen and found a puddle on the floor. Apparently, they left the water draining back onto the floor, saturating the carpet in the adjacent room once again and the floor of the kitchen and the water heater closet. They were advised of the problem and brought in a vac to clean up the water on the kitchen floor. A minor issue: they turned off the water to the house with three people at home without notifying us at all, which was at best thoughtless. One gentleman brought me my bill, wiping his feet on my carpet when he came into the room. He did not know how to process my credit card, so he called in the other gentleman. The other gentleman took my credit card information, including the 3-digit code on the back, which I wouldn't think they should need. They also said they had "gotten up all the water they saw". The adjacent carpet was more saturated than it had been in the initial leak and the water heater closet was 1/2 inch deep in water. Overall, I am very displeased with several aspects of service. Presumably the installation itself is satisfactory, but I will update this review if that turns out not to be the case.

I had a major leak flooding my entire yard. I called my home warranty company and they assigned the call to Drain Go. The company called first thing the next morning and told me someone would be at my home between 9 & 12. About 11:45 the technicians called to say they would arrive shortly. While the man who called was not unpleasant, neither was he pleasant. and just short of courteous. Two technicians arrived shortly after their call and they immediately spotted the problem with the leak. I greeted them outside and both technicians barely acknowledged me. After briefly assessing my water leak issue, I was asked about the issues inside. I had two other minor issues, drippy shower faucets, they quickly fixed. I was not very pleased with the quality of their work as the pipes between the handle and the shower wall in both bathrooms are pretty banged up. When they entered my home they did wipe their feet, but, they didn't cover their muddy boots. Afterward, they informed me they would have to call the warranty company for approval because the break was outside the foundation of my home. As anticipated, the warranty company refused to cover the repair and the technician then gave me an estimate to repair the main line break for $675 and guarantee their work for 3 months. Of course, they would replace the entire water line from meter to my home for $1800. My meter isn't more than 35 feet from the tie in. After picking my jaw up off the floor, I called several friends and a couple of other companies and realized the estimate I had been given by Drain Go was twice what others had paid or estimates from two other companies. While I can't say the technicians were discourteous or unpleasant, they certainly were not what I consider courteous and pleasant. Needless to say, based on the price quoted and the demeanor of the technicians I did not let Drain Go perform the work

When I called, the lady answering was very courteous. They told me that someone would come out between noon and 4, and they did. The technician called me to say he was on the way, and they arrived around 2:00 PM. After hearing me describe the problem, they told me that they could only put a 100 ft "snake" down the roof vent and hope that it reached the blockage. The estimate was for $285 plus tax, and they weren't sure that they would have success. They seemed very honest, but I just wasn't comfortable spending that much for a possible fix. My house, because it's older perhaps, doesn't seem to have an outside cleanout, so they did offer to install one of those for between $600 - 1200 plus tax, and they told me that they could do a camera check for $95 which might yield some other data. I gave them the overall "C" rating as being average. I wasn't exactly dissatisfied, since I didn't have the work done, but I can't say I was satisfied either. I marked that I would use them again, but I might or might not.
Description of Work: I have backed up drains all over the house. Toilets won't flush, and when you try, they back up into the bathtubs. I have a small hand auger, and tried to run it down both of my bathtubs, but no help, so I called Drain Go.

I used them through American Home Shield and therefore my service call was just $60. Drain Go is a professional company. Their service is good. The people who came out were very professional. They’ve been out here twice. I don’t know what the true price is because I used them through Home Shield. They have the experience on the job. They know their job. They know what they are doing. There was some problem again with the commode. He could have come back the next day but he turned around at that moment and fixed it. He made sure the job was done completely to my satisfaction. I would use their services again in the future.
