Description of Work: This individual came out to look at the work and give me an estimate; when he came he told me he would be going on vacation. I said great! Because I feel everybody need a vacation every once in awhile. I thought he would send me the estimate prior to leaving for vacation but he did not; by the time he returned from vacation, I had given the job to somebody else. He left word for me, if I wanted the estimate to contact him. Like I said I had given the job to somebody else so I did not call him. When he arrive to review the work for an estimate he was very friendly, and professional as well as knowledgeable--just no follow-thru.

Description of Work: Replaced rotted exterior wood trim and painted to match existing. Unstuck painted shut windows. Repaired sticking kitchen drawer. Found other areas of exterior trim that needed replacing (which I appreciated) as well as checking some areas that did not need work.

Description of Work: He removed and replaced some rotten wood. He fixed the front door gap. He fixed the garage door trim. He did something to prevent the toilet from rocking in my son's bathroom.

+ 0 moreThe best summary of my experience with Arrow Remodeling is one word ? Professional. I had badly damaged soffit and fascia boards on the rear of my home and I knew it would have unknown damage behind these areas. Kevin with Arrow looked over everything and advised that due to the hidden damage, he could not give me a firm quote but to expect at least two days labor/materials and possibly part of a third day. Based on the information given, I expected the work to be about $3,000. I contacted two other companies for quotes and one said it would cost anywhere from $1500 to $4,500 but this guy did not even own a ladder to get on the roof. The other said, ?We will just have to see when it is over. There is no way to even predict a price.? I hired Arrow and it took two and a half days to complete the work. They kept me informed by phone throughout the work and explained all problems that they uncovered and gave me options of repairing them. The carpentry, painting, and cleanup were all handled very well and they provided very good advice on some other things that will need attention in the near future. The workers were timely and I am extremely pleased with the overall experience. I realize that when repairing a 55 year old home the owner should expect the unexpected, but the information provided by Arrow made the decisions much easier. This city has many ?contractors? with signs on their vehicles that say things like, ?we do all kinds of interior and exterior repairs? but Arrow is the real deal. Yes ? you will pay but you will also receive a quality product and professional work. I wouldn?t hesitate to use this group again.
Description of Work: Repaired damaged soffit, fascia, hidden damage, replaced metal roof over the specific area and painted selected areas.

Description of Work: Replaced 6 glass windows, painted trim of 12 windows, removed 2 weather damaged decorative exterior wooden shutters. |Long delay in start date - story changed over time. |Ad hoc scheduling of workers who were, without notification, ordered to other jobs. On the first day only 2 windows, out of potential 13, were replaced in a time period of 4 hours by a 3-man work crew! They were ordered to another job without prior notice or consultation. |Invoice submitted before work was completed had many gross ERRORS! Included billing for bathroom work done for another customer and serious inflation of time spent on the job. Billing office was unhelpful and argumentative. Owner was ornery and condescending when approached for redress. |Work crews were friendly, courteous, and professional. Quality of work done and clean up were both above average.

+ -1 moreI initially called to have a leaking bathtub faucet repaired. After Kevin came to assess the problem I also showed him some gutters that had come loose. He sent me an estimate later that day and we agreed on a time for the repairs to be done. Parts were replaced and all repairs were completed by mid morning. I was very pleased with the service and have since recommended Arrow Remodeling to others.
Description of Work: Repaired gutters and repaired a leaking bathtub faucet.
