Affordable Cleaning

Great. Amy is very professional. We went over the details of what she was going to and what time she would arrive. She did exactly as she said she would do. My house smells wonderful and the dust is gone. Great job Amy!

I was in need of someone to clean my house which was to be put on the market to sell and Amy was kind enough to squeeze me in her busy schedule. She was very professional and pleasant and did an excellent job. We had one bathroom which had a stained toilet and she was even able to get that clean as well as the tub looking shiny and new! The house looked perfect when she was finished!! I would certainly recommend her to anyone.

Amy and her staff have cleaned our home for several months and we are extremely pleased with the results. They are dependable and are very detailed with their work. We are renovating one room at a time and they are very good about working around everything and keeping the house clean. We are going to have them perform a " deep cleaning" when we have completed some of the renovation. My family and I are so thankful to have Amy and her team helping us. It's so nice to come home and have the house look and smell clean. Our hardwood floors have never looked as good as they do now. We hope to have Amy and her staff assist us with cleaning our home for a very long time! Their work is outstanding!

I contacted the owner of Affordable Cleaning, Amy, a week before I needed my house to be cleaned prior to moving in. The house was vacant and we had painting, flooring and carpentry work done before our move in. There was a lot of dust throughout from the flooring work; on the walls and the many windows and blinds (24 5' windows, each with blinds), bathroom and kitchen fixtures and tile and wood floors. We wanted the house really clean and only had a week before the movers were coming with our furniture. We walked thru the home with a checklist of our cleaning desires and agreed on a price which include most of the supplies. I understood the detail of the work and the extra workers needed for our timeline, but was just a little anxious that I was overpaying. This notion vanished when we came by the house after 3 hours. What a job they had and what a job they were doing! Amy and her ladies were meticulous. Starting with the windows, completely cleaning each blind slat individually and washing each window they were doing exactly what she promised. The work was organized, working from the back to the front, from bedroom to bathroom to closet to kitchen, living and dining rooms. I have had cleaning jobs where the owner would leave a crew with her interpretation of my instructions and ask me not to check until the job was finished. Amy insisted that we come early and often as the work progressed and she was on site the whole time. We saw a couple of items which were corrected immediately. We also saw a dusty wall after moving, called Amy and she came out to take care of it. We were very happy with the fantastic job done by Affordable Cleaning. Attention to detail is a hallmark for this lady and her folks. She also shared tips on how to keep our brand new wood floor looking great and how to really use some of the cleaning products that we normally would not buy. I recommend Affordable Cleaning for the toughest job or periodic cleaning.

Amy and her team have been a huge help for me as a mother of 4 little ones! Amy is polite, prides herself on having satisfied customers, and always asks me for feedback after the cleaning. There have been instances where a few things were overlooked; however, anything brought to Amy's attention is sure to be corrected (and cleaned extra thoroughly!) the next cleaning. Overall I would recommend her services, however this review is only based on a few cleanings. I intend to continue bi-weekly cleanings and will be able to provide a more thorough overall assessment in the future!

Work was not completed as promised. Could not promise a set schedule for bi monthly cleaning.

Amy was great. Quick to answer the phone, and very responsive. Worked us into the schedule quickly. They did a great job cleaning our home, and we look forward to the next time!

Her prices were very competitive and I got SO MUCH MORE than what I paid for. This team is professional, courteous, and do an impeccable job. Amy is kind and so easy to work with. They are now coming weekly! Love them!

Excellent. The house was in its best shape in years. We have had a maid since we moved in 14 years ago, but Amy and her crew got it cleaner and neater and smeliing better than it ever has. Her prompt and consistent communication via text has also been a plus. She is proud of her work and it shows. I highly recommend Amy to anyone needing quality service and a very reasonable price.

They did everything I asked of them. Work was very good. There is no doubt she and her team do good work. Scheduling can be a challenge but we finally got a date that worked for both of us. She's getting busier and filling up her spaces so it might be hard to get her in the future. I will use her again on a regular basis.

I didn't realize I supplied everything. I thought they would bring their own vacuum, broom, mop etc. Very good job.

Amy and Valerie cleaned my house better than a crew of 4 sent by another service. She is very sweet and accommodating, and serious about doing a good job. I am absolutely thrilled to have found her and hope our relationship continues this well. She costs a little more, but worth it Update: I had to stop using Amy because she became very angry and defensive when I inquired about her skipping significant cleaning efforts, such as picking up rugs to clean under them. She claimed she cleaned under the rugs, but when I lifted them they were disgusting. She also left the hot water running continuously in the kitchen sink when she was mopping literally at the other end of the house, and freaked out yelling at me when I turned the water off. She later apologized for her behavior but I can't deal with that kind of stress and feeling like I am walking on eggshells. She told me she just didn't like me so anything I said to her annoyed her!

Amy James is a gift from God!! She is sweet,honest and cleans like a machine!! I am so proud to have found her!

If you need help around the house, these are the ladies you want!! My husband and I both work full time and are out of town a lot for both work and weekend trips. Housework is the LAST thing we (I) want to do when we get home. My mother in law and sister in law both use Amy and her team and referred me when I started looking for some help. Both my M.I.L and S.I.L are particular about how they keep their houses, so when they told me I had to call Amy, I immediately dialed her up. While I have only had my initial deep cleaning (hence the price), I can say, with full confidence, that I am depending on a secure spot in Amy's calendar for every 2 weeks from here on out. They cleaned EVERYTHING!! We have 2 black labs and one adopted mixed puppy and, while they are our hearts, they are DISGUSTING.... They dig, track in dirt, shed, drool, etc.... I told her about my concerns (mainly hair and dirt) and she took care of it all. She even went as far as to ask what smells I like in my house.. who else does that? It's amazing. My house is full of fall scents, my absolute favorite. (I may or may not have walked around my house for a longer time than necessary, deeply inhaling the scent) Even my husband, a die hard "we can do it ourselves" kind of guy, is amazed at the job they did. He called me and bragged on their services for 10-15 minutes in the middle of a work day. What straight guy under 30 cares about how great the house looks and smells? I knew they were keepers when he made a point to tell me about his appreciation for their job well done. I'm telling you, if you want an unbelievably clean and fresh feeling home, do yourself a favor and call Amy and her team. They really care about providing the best service to you and will go out of their way to meet your needs in whatever way they can. They are so nice and easy to work with. If this means anything, I signed up for Angie's List and paid the dues, just so I could write this review. They made that much of an impact on my husband and I. Just know this, if you hire her, you CAN'T have my time slot. :)
