Tess' Painting Etc.

Tess did a fantastic job, repairing large and small cracks and holes in drywall. She also suggested an alternate finish on three walls in living/dining room to mitigate future drywall cracks -- a faux ship-lap finish using thin sub-flooring plywood. It came out looking very well. We highly recommend her services!

Over half of the house was painted in two days. We still have a few rooms to paint and I will get her back to paint them soon. Realitor was very impressed with the job so far.

Everything looked great!

.Painted a 20 X 20 room with built in bookshelves and cabinet and fireplace. Painted walls, pitched ceiling with beams, trim, and the built ins. Painted the fireplace. Fixed a leak around the fireplace on the roof and sealed some windows that were also leaking. Treated mold on a small area around the window and a large section of the fireplace. Did some minor carpentry work. Checked the roof for any other problems. Checked the roof repair after raining to make sure the repair was holding up. Also painted the ceiling in a 10 X 12 room which was bright turquoise Took several coats to cover. Tess was wonderful. Highly recommend her. Made many good suggestions not only on the the current job but on others things I asked her about. Always on time. Called if delayed by traffic. Very professional. THANKS TESS!!!!!!

just great Tess was great very professional she did great work she was just like a good friend called everyday to let us know she was coming told us everything she was doing we just loved having her in our home We will use her again she is the best heR finished work is the best everyone need to use Tess EXCELLENT ECELLENT WORK

Tess really did a great job!!! No paint on my wood floors!!! We plan to use her this fall for another painting job, Outstanding on caulking and painting. Very professional!!! Always on time.

The rooms look amazing. Tess is a very efficient painter, we have both wood and carpet and not a drop of paint on the floors. She gave me tips on what to do if I painted myself and showed me a few techniques not that I need them, we've asked her to quote for more rooms. She was happy to take measurements for our next project immediately after finishing the job. She was prompt everyday and said I could leave my dogs at home as I thought I may have to board them as I work full time. We gave Tess a key and she locked up after she finished. Very trustworthy. Tess does a great job and I would recommend her in a heartbeat. She will be back with us in approx October.

She was excellent. She gave good advice on color and paint. Trust worthy. Felt very comfortable with her doing the work.

I love the job Tess did. It feels like a new house when I am in the living area. Tess is a very talented painter and is also extremely handy. She explained things to me before hand and let me know what to expect (like how stinky the primer was going to be and how long the drying time would be). She worked quickly and quietly and was very neat and considerate with her tools and equipment. While she was working her way around with the painting, she would stop if she thought of some way to make the room look better and asked me which way she should proceed. I liked her suggestions every time and am so glad she gave me the choice instead of just doing it the way I had originally planned. Tess is very good at her job no doubt! She is also very good with animals (my Boston terrier loved saying hi to her each day). She is a delight to have around and I look forward to having her do future jobs for me.

Tess did a fantastic job. She was very responsive and willing to do whatever we wanted. She provided suggestions on paint color, etc. and worked around our "living" in the kitchen as well. I would use her again in a heartbeat and am already planning to have her come back to paint some of our bedrooms for us. She made sure that everything was put away at the end of the day and kept the area very clean while she was working. She didn't cut any corners or take any opportunity to do so.

Tess was terrific! She was very helpful with color/technique selections, and was always patient with trying various colors etc. she is a perfectionist and would not leave a job almost perfect...she wants it right. We enjoyed working with Tess and highly recommend her to anybody needing a good painter.

Great! She showed up on time and worked diligently until the job was done. She would have even worked on Labor day if we had been able to get out of the house. We have a 15 month old, and she was very mindful of him and tried to be careful with keeping everything put up in "her spot" and out of his reach. She replaced the outlet covers she removed everyday so he wouldn't be able to mess with them. She was SO very sweet and was willing to answer any questions about the work. She also gave us lots of tips about how to keep the paint looking good over the years. My husband and I are both very detailed people, and she never complained or acted put off by us asking her to go back over spots that we thought could be better. She did an AMAZING job of making our walls look like new. They were in bad shape with cracks, and huge holes everywhere where the prior owners had hung things. Her attention to detail covering those spots was awesome. Most of the time you can tell when something has been patched, but she did a great job covering ours. I gave her an A on quality, but it should probably be an A- because there was a spot that she missed that we had to go back and touch up and spots on the baseboards where I could see where paint had dripped and it had been painted over, and I spent some time cleaning paint off of our wood floors.

Did not hire this company because they do not do knock down walls.

Tess was great to work with. She was good at communicating when she would be there and how long it would take. She did a very thorough job and made sure it looked just right before she left. Tess is very easy to work with and also gave a lot of good advice for DIY stuff. I would definitely use her again in the future!

Tess was very detailed and always on time. The work took longer than she originally expected but she didn't take shortcuts or ask for extra money. I will be using Tess in the future.

We haven't started the work yet but we were talking about the ideas I think it's gonna be fantastic. She's getting contact with and she is very professional. She enjoys what she does, that something she wants to do; she is very creative, she listen very well and on exactly what I want, her experience the her knowledge kindly make me the decision of what I want.

Tess really did a great job for us. Not only she did the work we asked, she also made a lot of cost saving suggestion that worked. We will continue to use her services. She is a busty person. However, once she started on our project she was totaly committed. She was on thime each day and did a full day's work. She does more than just paint, I strongly recommend calling her. Her prices are very reasonable. She is a crew of ONE, and can work.

Because there was ceiling repair the job consisted of 20-30 minutes of work each day for 4-5 days. Tess came late afternoon after working bigger jobs and got in and out quickly. Worked out great and was much less expensive than the other quotes I received.

I can't recommend Tess highly enough! I called 2 painters on Angie's List. She called me back the next day to give me an idea of when she could come and give me an estimate...the other person didn't call until 4 days later. She came within 4 days, looked at my job, gave me an estimate, and a time that she could come. I have an autistic son and she was more than willing to work around his work schedule so it wouldn't upset him. (Big plus) She came today and there were problems touching up the ceiling paint...I didn't want to have to paint the entire ceiling, which takes in 3 rooms! Even though it took her some time, she matched the paint perfectly! She was here from 10:00 until after 4:30 and even with all the problems, she didn't charge me a cent more than her estimate. I will most definitely use her again...matter of fact, I've got a list started! She can do most anything! As a single lady that has had some very bad experiences, Tess was a blessing!!!!!

We hired Tess to remove and replace old wallpaper in the bathroom. She looked at the paper and suggested that removing the wallpaper would damage the underlying wall. She suggested painting over the old wallpaper and spent time mixing shades of paint so that we could pick a proper shade. The result was excellent. The texture of the wallpaper could be seen through the paint and the bathroom became much lighter and more spacious. Her experience with wallpaper and mixing shades of paint made this project successful. In short, Tess takes the time to get an excellent result. She carefully presents options and is able to explain the final result of a project. We plan to hire her again for renovation of a bedroom.

It went well. I don't have anything negative. She did a good job!!!

We hired Tess to paint kitchen and bathroom cabinets in addition to the walls. ?She quickly came to the house and presented an estimate for completion of the work. ?Tess was meticulous in preparation of the wood for painting. ?She made many suggestions for getting a better result for the cabinets and the walls. Her suggestions greatly improved the results of the painting. ?She was very careful with the paint and was thorough with the cleanup. ?We were very pleased with the results of her work and would like to have her return to paint some other rooms. ?Throughout the job, Tess communicated with us about her progress. ?She is a true professional and we would recommend her to others without reservations.

It turned out great. We are going to hire to do the rest of the church soon. She completely cleaned up after herself. She didn't make any messes. She is very fair priced.
