I came to be in contact with Mark after he was subcontracted to do electrical work through a contractor who was doing a home improvement project for me. Mark and his associate arrived exactly on time, and began work right away. He was organized, personable, and professional in every aspect. The job cost exactly what the estimate was, and was completed timely. I would recommend Vanderford Electric to anyone needing electrical work done in their home.
Description of Work: Mark and his associate installed a new electric double oven and removed the old one. He also installed a total of five dimmer switches in various locations throughout the house.

Mark was very professional and punctual. His estimate was accurate, and he brought all of the wallplates, switches and outlets in the colors on which we had previously agreed (going room by room). We mentioned that future sheet rock installation in one of the rooms would require a 3/8 gap for plates switches and outlets to accomodate the material, and he put those in just as we requested with the correct gap. When ceiling beams caused issues with our original canister light placement in the kitchen, Mark called to discuss the problem, then purchased two more canisters to change the light placement and complete the kitchen lighting the next day. Mark Vanderford will be the first person we call when the workshop is set up and needs to be wired for electricity.
Description of Work: Mark Vanderford completely rewired a house built in the 1950s to bring it up to the current electrical code standards. The number of circuit breakers were more than doubled, EFI outlets were put in and additional wall outlets were put in several of the rooms. Mark also hung ceiling fans, installed a dining room chandelier and installed 6 recessed canister lights into the kitchen ceiling. Lastly, he set up the electricity so that a generator could run some of the household in the event of a power outage. He clearly labelled all of the circuits and described everything that was done.
