Sun Shade Window Tinting

We always follow the directions for cleaning; use only an ammonia-free, tint safe cleaner. This past weekend, we noticed the clear layer of the film was flaking off as we wiped. Took the car to Sun Shade to request they honor their "Lifetime Warranty". First, we were told it was glue. Next, we were told we were using the wrong cleaner. I asked what cleaner would recommend and was told an ammonia-free, tint safe cleaner. I handed the guy the can of ammonia-free, tint safe cleaner we used and he said just because it says it's safe doesn't mean it's safe...then he offered to redo the tint for $100. I said I am not paying $100 for a warranty repair. He ushered me out of his shop and told me to have a nice day. Do NOT go to Sun Shade for window tinting, you will get ripped off and they will not honor their warranty.

From the first contact with owner Jim Hammons, every detail was handled with complete professionalism and prompt response. He arrived for the estimate exactly on time, and spent a lot of time with me, making certain I understood exactly what products were available to suit my needs, and how I could expect the products to perform. He went a step further and explained exactly what I could expect during the installation of the window film, and how long it would take. Again, Jim arrived exactly when he said he would be, and promptly went to work. He paid meticulous attention to every detail, making certain the installation was done correctly. Sun Shade applied the film to six windows and a full-windowed door on the west side of my house, and the windows on the double doors and transom above the doors, which is on the east side of my house. The work quality is superior, and as near perfect as humans can get. It all looks really great. I would highly recommend Jim Hammons and Sun Shade Window Tinting to anyone. Great Job.
