His contact number is 601-906-5549. The owner, Mr. Jason Hill, came the day after I called for an estimate. He estimated that he could finish all of my projects (listed above) in 2 days. I didn't allow myself to get my hopes up, but he DID IT and even finished a few hours early on the second and final day! He was prompt in showing up (both mornings and after his lunch breaks) and also prompt in returning my calls (same day.) He communicated very well with me throughout the whole process, listening attentively and answering all of my questions in layman's terms. Before we even scheduled a date for the work to begin, he spent a lot of time addressing all of my concerns (and they were many, due to my previous bad experiences with contractors). He had a great attitude and work ethic and made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole process. To help me save money, he allowed me to handle purchasing the materials beforehand (from Capitol Countertops) (please see my review of them, too). On the day I interviewed him for the job, and per my request, he wrote out a materials list, detailing everything he'd need to complete the job. I called him as soon as the materials were ready, and he came out to do the work on my next 2 off days. He looked for a lot of other ways to save me money without sacrificing quality. He works alone (no poorly-skilled, bull-in-a-china-shop "helpers" to worry about) and was very respectful of my home while he was there. He was punctual and a non-smoker (I'm terribly allergic to smoke). A big reason I usually dread hiring ANY man to do work for me, is because I am a single woman who has had bad experiences before, with being talked down to, or having my questions ignored altogether, being price-gouged (the bill being padded with charges for unnecessary materials or work that really wasn't done or necessary) , or even being spoken to inappropriately (hit on) once they realized I was single. Ladies, this guy is not like that, thank God! I could tell that he is a respectful, Christian, family man, and you can feel very comfortable and safe, alone with him working in your home. He went the extra mile in all of the work that he performed for me. He had my best interest in mind throughout the whole process. He gave great attention to detail in all of his work and was never sloppy. He was very considerate of any special requests that I had. He was respectful of my home and toward me. He does EXCELLENT WORK, and takes pride in doing a great job. He made a point to ask me about my preferences on details, to make sure that it all turned out just the way I wanted. In the plumbing that he did for me, he tested all of it for leaks (without me asking!) and made sure it was all secure and explained the special way he does a leak-test, when I inquired. He explained everything to me in detail, whenever I had a question, and his demeanor toward me was always very professional. He never seemed annoyed with my questions and was always happy to stop and answer them. The price that he did all of this labor for, was excellent! A pleasant surprise to me, was that he voluntarily gives a two year warranty (and gives it in writing, if requested). At the end of the project, there was quite a mess, understandably, but he cleaned up everything behind himself (without me asking!) Here are a few examples of how he went the extra mile and did his work "as unto the Lord" : 1) Without me asking, he repaired the large holes in the sheetrock that resulted from removal of the old, glued-on sidesplashes. 2) He made 2 trips to Lowes for small materials we ended up needing. 3) I also had an old exterior door that had been replaced by a new one and that I'd been needing to get rid of, but I had no way to haul it off, so he kindly did that for me at my request. 4) He even got the sawdust (produced by cutting the countertops, hole for the sink, sidesplashes, etc. to the necessary sizes), out of my garage with a blower. 5) He voluntarily went and picked up the materials for me, because I was unable to do so, for lack of a truck or trailer to haul the 10ft. countertop slab, 8ft. slab, and 4ft. x 8ft. sheet of laminate to my home. (And he did these extra things at no extra charge. God bless him!!) This was an excellent experience that I NEEDED to have, in order to restore my hope that there are GOOD contractors out there! I could not be more thankful for having hired Mr. Hill to handle these projects for me. He also installs cabinets! I'm not sure, but he may even make cabinets. Whatever projects you need done, just ask him and he can do most all of them! This will save you SO much money by preventing you from having to hire a separate plumber, carpenter, handyman, etc., because most craftsman, whatever their specialty might be, simply WON'T come out to do a small job like installing a catdoor, or replacing old faucets with new ones. Hiring Mr. Hill was an answer to prayer, LITERALLY! because the other contractors I'd called for these separate small jobs, either didn't even show up to give the estimate (I guess because it was too small a job to be worth their time) or they'd quote an overly inflated price to MAKE it worth their time. So until I was referred to Mr. Hill, I had all but given up on having these renovations done. I just want to say to Mr. Hill: May God richly bless and prosper you, your family, and your company, for the kindness and integrity you show in your business practices. And may you never lack a steady flow of customers to sustain and grow your business.
