Paid in full in advance (stupid), but never received anything, and never heard back from company.
Description of Work: Owner came out to estimate work required to install top-of-the-line retractable awning, and insisted on full payment in advance. He seemed honest and trustworthy and I violated my cardinal rule of "Never pay more than 1/2 in advance." We were promised delivery and installation of the awning within "10 days to 2 weeks." It has now been 5 weeks. They did finally send someone out, supposedly to be sure about where the installation should go, but we have had absolutely no follow-up since, nor any response to our messages left on their voice mail. I can't do business with people (at best) so unreliable and unprofessional. I am now in the process of trying to get my money back. And once again, I have relearned "never pay more than 1/2 price in advance." Big mistake. I am not only upset and angry over the possible loss of $4001.00, I am embarrassed and angry at having trusted someone who could not or would not live up to that trust and at having my trust betrayed.

I have used this company several times on new construction projects. I have always had to go behind the crews after they leave and reinforce areas that are inadequately insulated. The lack of supervision on jobs from the owners contribute to this reduction in quality of work. After they sell the job, they generally will not return to check the quality of work from their ever changing workforce of laborers. I have also referred them to other people and later found that they did not show up. When I built my personal home, I found that some of the insulation was incorrectly installed. I contacted both of the owners about the problem. One owner suggested that I repair it myself. The other owner said that this was unacceptable and would repair the problem.......I never heard from him. However, the prices are unbeatable, but this is affirmation that you get what you pay for. I will NEVER use this company on any of my projects in the future.

I called Mike Malenky and he felt iit was just dust and I could fix the problem myself without a service call. I had him come out the next day. After cleaning the fireplace and thinking it was working. He stayed several minutes to make sure it worked. The fire went out. He determined the electric switch was faulty. He ordered another and returned the next day. Overall it took him 1 1/2 hours to repair the unit. He charged me only for the service visit plus parts.
Description of Work: My gas fireplace would not light. Or if it did light would quickly go off
