Mow It Right

First they kept changing my date to low my lawn. Finally the owner Melinda called and said they would come out Wednesday, but they showed up on Thursday.... the owner (the husband) and another guy showed up in a hurry .... half cut my yard and left all the grass droppings in my front and back yard.... nit to mention they cut the yard and it was damp.... my grass looked like carpet before they started and looked like a 5 year old cut it when they finished ... they left grass on the streets and we witnessed them blowing the grass in the storm drain...... who do you complain to when the owner is the one that did this poor job.... I called the office to let her know how my experience went she could t care less..... this was my first and last time ever using them........

First of all my grass was cut on last Wednesday. They stopped in the middle of cutting the front and side of the yard. The office called me the next day and said that they couldn’t cut the yard because it was too high. But the yard service men didn’t tell them they started and abruptly stopped. Someone was supposed to come out on Thursday but never showed up. I woke up the next morning on 7/3 called at 845 was assured that I was number 4 on the list. I waited and waited no one ever showed up. I called up until 3pm no one answered. Left my yard half cut and I had company on Friday evening. Then they showed up on the 4th of July to cut the yard. It was cut uneven, grass was blown all in the yard, against the house, in the streets and in my cleaned out flower beds. You would have thought the owner would have called or emailed or something to apologize for running my yard and my holiday. I was so embarrassed that my yard looked like a 4 year old cut it. I am a HIGHLY UNSATISFIED EX-CUSTOMER. Oh and they billed my credit card 😂.

If you want fast then they are for you. If you want quality then look elsewhere. They are so fast they leave gaps uncut and if anything is in the way such as a broken tree branch or chair they go around, they never bend over. If there is a piece of your yard they do not want to cut, good luck. I have a ten foot stretch of grass next to my house they ignore, letting it get taller and taller until I have to cut it myself, but they are fast, much too fast if you want quality.

did not cut front yard even, had big gaps in lawn, complained asked for a re cut, their representative more concerned about our small backyard, would not address bad cut other than to say that way to correct the bad cut was to cut our yard every week instead of every 10 days, we canceled our contract, rude & rushed company. they use large fast commercial mowers, the men do not look at their completed job. jump out ,jump in, gone.

For my lawn service I use Mow it Right. I have had them for a little while now. They were here last Wednesday, May 4th 2016. It cost $34. That's the best price in town, I think.

Mow It Right does a great job. We have used them for a few years and are extremely happy. We also have them spray and fertilize. Thanks to them, our grass looks great.

I pay $45 a week for the regular service but for the landscaping depends on the quote they give. I am contemplating if I will still continue with their service. I have plans of getting other quotes.

I had an absolutely deplorable service and they tore up my yard. They vandalized my yard.

It has been a good experience. They do the job and they call before they come because of our dogs in the backyard. They also let me know what came up if I am not home. They come when they are supposed to and they let you know that if it rains the next day they would not show up. The yard looks good. They come five or six times a year and they charge around $50 each time that they come.

I contacted this company for maintenance lawn care. I set the service up for weekly mowing. I was contacted by a customer sales representative who stated that I needed a "cut down" first because my lawn was classified as overgrown. The fee for that was $65. I agreed to this service. The crew came out on 8/6/13 and massacred my lawn. My plush green grass was cut irregularly, debris was in my landscaping/street and the grass was cut so low, it turned brown. My neighbors asked what happened to my lawn. When I contacted Mow It Right the next day, I asked to speak with the manager or owner. I spoke with someone by the name of Chris Fowler. I told him that I was not happy with how my lawn looked and asked if a crew could come out and correct my lawn to make it look better. He told me no. He said that it was my fault that I let my grass get overgrown and the results of my lawn was what is to be expected with a cut down. He stated he would not send anyone out to my home and I would have to wait until next week. I told him that I did not know that the debris would be all over the place when I agreed to the cut down. He said "yes you did. We tell everyone that." I told him that I was not told about it but he continued to argue with me saying he wasn't going to do anything to satisfy my concerns. I was charged $65 for this horrible service. I am really upset that someone who is supposed to be a professional and running a company would speak to a customer like that. Chris Fowler needs classes/training on customer service and how to run a business. I instructed the company to cancel my account. I would not recommend his company to anyone at all. Highly upset and dissatisfied!! I would rate them a Z if I could!!

We have been using Mow It Right since the beginning of the season. We were pleased the first few times they came out, after ironing out some scheduling issues in the first month. However in the past month it has been just terrible. Leaving huge swatches of grass that haven't been touched in at least two weeks. Absolutely no weed eating or edging...just a very poor job. It appears the last time they came out they didn't even bother mowing the back yard. This is the 3rd and last time for us. If I pay for a service I expect it to be done correctly.

Mow It Right has been mowing my yard for 3 years now. I have them come out every two weeks. In the past they've done shrub trimming and clean up around the yard.

Just sloppy. They do a rush hasty job, that looks bad. They actually took time to blow the leaves off into the street, mow the grass and then blow the leaves back onto the grass. Seriously! Don't waste your money. Even though they are inexpensive, there are better companies to work with.

They don't do a clean job. After they are done mowing, it looks like they used a weedeater to do the job. The grass is not cut short or even. Within a couple of days the grass needs cutting again. They breeze through the front and back in less than 5 minutes. They miss certain areas and have broke several solar yard lights without saying anything.t

I use Mow it Right every week to cut the back yard. They do a satistactory job there but they mulch the trimming and it doesn't work well. Every week I end up with dead piles of grass around the yard. I have used Mow it Right a couple of times to trim shrubs. The first time they butchered my crepe mrytle tree (not a shrub) as well as the jasmine growing on my fence. They knocked over some of my landscape lighting and left it down. I called them back to set them up and they did it a day or two later. I recently used them again to trim shrubs, they knocked over landscape lighting again. I called and they came out the next day and set it up however they knocked down multiple stones around the shrub border. They also missed some trimming near the front door. Very sloppy work. I will not use them again to trim shrubs. I may keep using them to cut the drass but I'll have to start paying extra to have the trimmings bagged.

The girls in the office are fabulous. They are very tuned when I call. If I have any suggestions, comments or remarks they go out of their way to make sure that whoever that they are sending to my house to do the job is reading the notes and doing what I had asked for. They are reasonably priced. The team that I have got this year is very good. They are very responsive. I never know when they are going to show up but they come on their due date. They always come on their due date. They are professional.

I signed up in early April for the weekly lawn cutting service.They show up on Thursday afternoon, usually before 6:00 PM. Only missed coming on Thursday one time due to rain the previous day and they were making up the prior days missed appointments. The cut my lawn on Friday that one week. Have used them fr 5 weeks now and I am satsified with their work.

Mow it Right in Orlando, FL turned out to be an "April Fool's Day" joke on me. Tim Byrum - Manager - solicited by business at my house. I did not contact MIR. Mr. Byrum was very professional and polite. I explained to Mr. Byrum that I had a lawn service and I have been happy with their service for several years. Mr. Byrum said he would give me a written quote via email (which I received on April 1st). I explained to Mr. Byrum that I needed some extra yard cleanup and extra yard work done - I explained some of the work which included planting some trees, removing two plants (small tree and a flowering hedge), setting edging stones, planting some smaller plants in the ground, cleaning out a flower bed, working with an above ground irrigation system for the flower beds, etc. I received Mr. Byrum's price quote - the price was good. I responded that I did not want to change lawn service at this time, but I was still interested in the cleanup. I provided dates and a description of the work I needed done. From this point on, dealing with MIR has been an annoying experience to say the least and more importantly, a waste of my time. Phone communication was difficult - even when I called in the morning. I left messages and got no response, etc. etc. I finally sent an email back to Mr. Byrum and told him I gave up on being an MIR customer. I 'cc' the other MIR Associate. Her email response was unprofessional and rude to say the least. Apparently she was on her honeymoon and this was somehow my fault. Apparently, MIR ignores customers when one of their Associates goes on a honeymoon??? The email correspondence was symbolic of the service I received once My. Byrum was out of the picture. Here is the email communication chain......... Tim, What can I say.....I give up. It looks like I cannot become a "Mow It Right" customer. I have made several attempts to schedule the yard cleanup, but cannot seem to connect with Christy or anyone else to confirm the dates or discuss the work to be done. There was a message (I think it was from Christy?) that said MIR does not support fertilizing or irrigation, yet, when we spoke at my house, you told me you had an irrigation person (flowerbeds along the fence) and the MIR website shows both fertilizing and irrigation as services offered? There seems to be some confusion as to the services MIR offers and the work I needed to have done. What can I say......apparently this transaction was just was not meant to be. Sorry it did not work out. I will look for someone else to do this work. Please contact me when "Mow It Right" is better able to service customers in the area. ============== Christy Sutton's response to my email. Hey Tim, I have made several attempts to contact her. She did call back and only want to speak with me while I was on my honeymoon and yet when I returned her call I got her voicemail again. ============ My response to Ms. Sutton's email Tim and Christy, I NEVER EVER said I had to speak to Christy. MIR TOLD ME I NEEDED TO SPEAK TO CHRISTY SINCE CHRISTY WAS THE PERSON THAT LEFT THE MESSAGE FOR ME! This attached response is a total lack of professionalism. All that was required here was to for someone from MIR to say 1) Christy is not available, maybe I can help you with this or I can help you with this or 2) Christy is on vacation/honeymoon and will not be back until XXXXX date, can I help you with this? That is all it would have taken to address my request. BTW....The fact is on my first call back I did not remember the name of the person that left the message! I was told I should speak with Christy. No one ever said anything about Christy being on her honeymoon (aka not available). The second message I left was never responded to. This is not the way to treat customers or would be customers. As I stated in the previous email.......... Apparently this transaction was just was not meant to be. Sorry it did not work out. Mow it Right did a good job of mowing the yard but they kept leaving the gate open allowing our dogs escape from the backyard. I called numerous times alerting the office that this was occurring with no remediation. After the fourth time our dogs were found roaming the streets, (and were almost hit by a car) we canceled the service. They were not apologetic or accepted any blame. I would not recommend this company to anyone that has animals.

Overall the work is quite satisfactory. If I want extra work done, I've been instructed to call the company and they put it on a work order for the mowers.

They were quick and efficient. I hardly knew they were here so to speak, they came and did their business. They were top notch. I step outside and with the exception of the check it was done. They were tidy, fast and I hardly knew they were here. The pricing was well within reason and they were responsive. I chose them because of availability, other places were unavailable or too busy and I wanted it done as soon as possible.
